Awe-Inspiring Experience at the Terracotta ArmyVisiting the Terracotta Army was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience and absolutely worth every minute. Standing in front of thousands of life-sized clay soldiers, all arranged in precise battle formations, is both overwhelming and fascinating. The scale of the site is far beyond what photos can capture.What impressed me the most is the level of detail — every warrior has a unique facial expression, hairstyle, and posture. You can really feel the power and ambition of China’s first emperor through this incredible masterpiece. Seeing the excavation pits alongside the restoration area also gives great insight into how carefully these artifacts are preserved and studied.The museum is well-organized, spacious, and informative, with clear explanations in English. It can get crowded, but the viewing platforms are well designed, making it easy to explore and take photos.

Definitely must visit when in Xi’an. Must be fully aware that it quite challenging. Xi feng up and Xi Feng down is fully recommended. My route Xi Feng up, Bei Feng down took us almost 4 hours and that was when we skipped the three other Feng. 4 hours is the time spent on the mountain.
I traveled during the off-season, so the ticket price was lower than in peak season, and there was almost no waiting in line. Because Mount Hua is very large, with five peaks alone, you can climb many places. I started from Yuquan Temple, which has a very ancient and charming atmosphere. This time, I only climbed up to the North Peak from Yuquan Temple, and it was very rewarding to reach the top. If you want to catch the cable car, you really need to allow plenty of time. The southern cable car was closed at the time, so you could only take the cable car from the north, but it will resume operation on December 15th, so you can choose whichever you prefer.

I enjoyed it but since the show is in mandarin and I didn’t look up the story beforehand I was a bit confused. I wouldn’t say the plotline is as obvious as the other commenters suggested. I highly recommend reading about it before going. Arrive at the palace atleast 15mins before the show because you need to print the ticket and there’s usually a queue.

Hukou Waterfall of the Yellow River is divided into Shanxi and Shaanxi two scenic spots. It is on the east and west sides of Hukou Waterfall. I went to the scenic spot of Shaanxi three years ago. In May and August this year, I went to the scenic spot on the Shanxi side. Hukou Waterfall is a special waterfall caused by the changes of the Yellow River, more than 400 meters wide of the river, to the Hukou only 30-50 meters wide, and the gap of about 30 meters, forming a waterfall, like a giant pot, the water of the Yellow River, so called the pot mouth. Great and a must see. It wasn’t very easy finding the entrance as the tower access is underground, but it’s a must see when you’re in Xi’An! Be prepared as it does get VERY crowded!
It's worth the visit, for sure. It's an economical attraction and it's beautiful and easily accessible in the heart of Xi'an. It's worth visiting both Towers.
