Welcome to Logger Creek Walkout! This is a newly renovated walkout basement located in a charming and classic neighborhood in the heart of Boise. As beautiful as the inside is, the real selling point is the back yard with loads of mature trees and historic Logger Creek flowing through. Sit outside, picnic, or BBQ and watch the ducks, geese, and maybe even deer visit the area. Inside you'll fine a bright, modern space for you to cozy up in your home away from home.The spaceThis walkout basement has everything you need. The spacious layout has a fully stocked kitchen with high end furnishings, a living room with TV and wifi, a seating area with a gorgeous view of the back yard oasis, a full size bathroom, a washer and dryer, and an incredible back yard along the water!The kitchen has everything you need for a night in: refrigerator, pots and pans, gas stove, spices and oils, dishes, and silverware.The living room has a TV with a Firestick so you can kick back and watch your favorite shows. Connect to the Klipsch bluetooth speaker and listen to your favorite tunes or enhance your movie experience.The seating area is in between the kitchen and the 8-foot sliding door. This is where you can cozy up and take in the back yard nature or read your favorite novel.Enter the bedroom through the sliding barn door and relax on an incredibly comfy Purple Mattress. There's a full size closet for you to store your things in and you will find a clothing iron and ironing board for you to freshen up.The bathroom is really one of our focal points. The shower has a built in 12 inch bench and you'll find two shower heads. Bathe in luxury! The quartz vanity is adorned with a 60 inch lighted mirror that will keep from fogging while you are showering. We provide a blow dryer, first aid kit, and soaps/shampoos for your stay! Since we are in a basement, all of the plumbing drains into the toilet which has a built in macerator and sump pump. This will kick on when it fills up or the toilet is flushed so you will hear a semi-loud humming noise from time to time.Guest accessGuests can park along the street and enter through their private entrance near the owners front door. The owner and his son live upstairs and are very quiet and respectful people. If you see them, be sure to say hi!The basement will be completely yours but you might bump into people in the back yard. Don't worry, you have your own patio space and the back yard is huge so there is plenty of space for everyone!Other things to noteThe plumbing is very fragile due to it being below grade. I offers complete privacy during your stay. The suite includes a full bathroom, kitchenette with eating area, and queen bed. We don’t accept booking with U-Haul trucks. You will have a designated parking spot in the driveway that will fit regular size car. Our home is within a few minutes drive from Meridian Village, Boise Towne Square Mall, and I-84. Airport is 13 minutes away. (Please let me know ahead of time if you are bringing pets). The space is a guest suite attached to our home. You will have complete privacy with a separate entrance, a private full bathroom (with barn door).Would like to note that the coffee provided is instant coffee (no coffee maker), French press coffee available, and provided breakfast is microwaveable breakfast sandwich. The shower dimensions are 32”x32”. We offer portable crib, and floor portable chair for baby. Let us know before coming, and we will prep it for you. ( no additional fee) . We prefer to have 2 people in our studio.But if you need a place to sleep for 3 rd person we offer a foldable guest bed with mattress and sheets ($10).Just let us know ahead of time. The unit features high ceilings, large stone fireplace, kitchen island with bar seating, WiFi, and washer and dryer. Long vertical windows at the front of the house and skylights in the ceiling provide plenty of natural light.This is the perfect apartment whether you're just passing through Challis for an overnight stay, visiting family and friends, or planning a longer visit to enjoy the central Idaho countryside.This unit is part of a duplex. Another short-term, rental apartment is right next door. Guests will need to be considerate of any neighbors and keep noise levels to a minimum during nighttime hours. Both units in the duplex are available to rent. Just search for "Calamity Jane's Hideaway" for the other unit. The units have a shared interior door. Normally locked from both sides, this door can be opened by the host to allow guests to pass-through if you have a larger party. This is a great option for two couples or a family. Please check availability for each unit before booking. Additonal discount is available if you book both units for the same dates.
