There was more than enough room for everyone to move around comfortably. We also had restful nights—the beds were so soft and comfortable that it felt like sleeping in a five-star hotel. The resort has a peaceful and relaxing ambiance. Although there was some ongoing construction during our stay, it wasn't a major issue since we were out most of the day for our island activities, and the work had already stopped by the time we returned each afternoon. We also enjoyed dining at their restaurant. The food was delicious, and we appreciated that the chef personally came over to ask how we liked our meals. My only suggestion would be to add more menu options, as the resort is quite far from restaurants and convenience stores. Having a wider selection would be especially helpful for guests staying several days. The staff were all friendly, accommodating, and approachable. They assisted us with everything we needed before, during, and even after our stay, making us feel well taken care of. However, there were several issues that affected our stay. The room was not properly cleaned and had a lot of dust. The complimentary toiletries were not provided upon check-in, and the shower drain was clogged, causing water to accumulate in the bathroom. The water supply appeared to come from a deep well and had an unpleasant smell. I also found it unusual that the pillows were covered with bed sheets instead of proper pillowcases. The most disappointing experience happened at 1:30 AM, when the receptionist called our room and woke us up to ask if they could borrow our air conditioner remote. We were told that three other guests had complained because they didn’t have air conditioner remotes, and the staff said they only had one remote available. Waking sleeping guests in the middle of the night to solve an internal hotel issue is highly unprofessional and significantly disrupted our rest. Overall, while the room size, affordability, and free breakfast were positives, the cleanliness, maintenance, and service need major improvement. I hope the management addresses these issues to provide a better experience for future guests.
