Great location, convenient for getting anywhere, with plenty of dining and shopping options. I booked a deluxe sea view room, and the service was excellent. Upon check-in, a deposit was required, which is standard for most hotels I've stayed at, so I thought nothing of it. However, the front desk still patiently explained the reason. I hadn't used my credit card in a while and entered the wrong PIN, but the handsome guy at the front desk waived the deposit for me on the spot – so thoughtful! Before checking in, I was worried the room facilities might be too old and uncomfortable. But the room I was assigned that day was perfectly fine, and the view was beautiful. The only downside was that the guests next door were probably having too much fun that night. From around 10 PM until I moved rooms at 3 AM, it was very lively and noisy, with loud shouting making it impossible to sleep. I called the hotel twice, and they reminded them twice, but it didn't help. At 3 AM, I was directly moved to a higher floor room to sleep (their handling of the issue was very prompt and flexible, which I commend). When checking out the next day, the manager actually came over to apologize for the noise from the next room last night. This truly deserves a positive review! It successfully made me decide to extend my stay for another night, haha. The only slight hiccup was that when I wanted to extend, the front desk staff told me to check online platforms for availability because they had no rooms at the front desk. So I booked the room for the second night through a platform. Perhaps because it was the weekend, the same room type was 500 more expensive, but I extended anyway, thanks to the manager's enthusiastic service, haha. When I came back in the afternoon after running errands to check in, I found that the hotel had upgraded my room! It was so heartwarming and successfully kept me there, hahaha. Next time I'm here, I'll definitely stay again...

Facilities: Since I got an upgrade as an Ambassador member, the room was quite good overall, especially the Victoria Harbour view which was fantastic. It's a bit small, but for Hong Kong, it's excellent. Hygiene: Very clean and tidied up daily. Environment: You can take a short walk downstairs to stroll along the seaside. It's about a five to six-minute walk to Tsim Sha Tsui East Station, and there are plenty of dining and drinking options nearby. Service: InterContinental standard service. The bar staff downstairs were very friendly but only spoke English. Check-in had Mandarin-speaking staff, but the overall experience would probably be better if you spoke English.

Second time staying here, haha! The location is super convenient, just a short walk to Victoria Harbour. **Hygiene**: Very clean. The cleaning staff were also very thoughtful; I hung the 'please make up room' sign before breakfast, and when I came back, it was already spotless. **Mini-bar**: Had coffee and many bottles of drinks. **Breakfast**: Delicious! They offered Hong Kong style, Chinese, American, and Japanese options. I even had put chai ko (steamed rice pudding) and egg tarts!

The hotel room is huge, AC is cold, no noises at night. The downside is that it’s a little far from TST and MTR (around 7-10 mins walk) but you can use shortcut through the park to TST. The staffs are very nice, they do room cleaning and give you new towels every day (we travel in 3 people and end up having 8 towels on check out day). The concierge is very helpful, we forget the luggage scale and we can borrow from them as well. Though the hotel is a bit too old and dated, you can see some tiny mold at the corner of bathroom, the carpet has lots of dust which isn’t good for people with allergies, and the elevators are too slow even though they have 2 sides of them but you’d wait forever during peak time. Overall 8/10 for me.

This was my first time staying at the Royal Garden. The hotel is clean, has a beautiful pool, nice views, and a wide selection of restaurants. Every staff member presents themselves in a professional manner, they have sincere smiles and are extremely helpful, the concierge, bellboy and housekeeping staff are very polite as well. I am especially thankful to Manager Bonny for leading her team excellently. Her team members, Polly, Ken, and Anson, all have great team spirit and were very helpful with our facility requests, as well as with the special arrangements for our tour. I am truly grateful and appreciate having them during my stay. I would definitely come back again and will surely miss their kind smiles and the feeling of being at home. A special thank you to Bonny and Polly, they made our stay in Hong Kong the best experiences, thank you!

The ultimate value-for-money king in Hong Kong! Harbour Plaza Metropolis exceeded all my expectations. Choosing the right hotel is crucial when visiting Hong Kong, and the Harbour Plaza Metropolis absolutely blew me away! Its location is prime – directly opposite Hung Hom MTR Station, just a 5-minute walk away, making travel to and from mainland China incredibly convenient. The hotel also offers a free shuttle bus to Tsim Sha Tsui, getting you to the shopping district in just 5 minutes. Being next to the Hong Hom Coliseum is fantastic for concerts, and the International Plaza shopping mall downstairs means shopping and dining are literally at your doorstep. My sea-view room was absolutely stunning. Opening the curtains revealed panoramic views of Victoria Harbour and the Avenue of Stars. The room itself was spacious and spotless, with elegant and cozy European-inspired decor. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the bathroom, with its separate wet and dry areas, was generously sized. The facilities were top-notch: fast, reliable internet, complimentary tea and coffee-making facilities, and an electronic safe. They even offered a free shoe-shine service – attention to detail was exceptional. The biggest surprise was the 25-meter outdoor heated swimming pool, where I could swim while admiring the Victoria Harbour views. The fitness center and spa were also excellent for unwinding after a long day of sightseeing. The breakfast buffet was fresh and diverse, offering a full spread of both Chinese and Western dishes. The staff were warm, efficient, and spoke excellent Chinese, making check-in and check-out a breeze. Whether for business or family travel, this is a top choice in Hong Kong. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit!

I initially thought that after so many years of renovation, the carpets might have an odor. However, after a long comparison, I decided that location was paramount. Other reviewers had mentioned no issues with smell, so I chose Kowloon Shangri-La. I ended up being incredibly satisfied! The decor is grand and luxurious. The staff are enthusiastic and remember guest preferences. (I was among the first employees at Shangri-La Qingdao in '97. I remember during training, we were taught to always remember every guest's preferences. It's great to see that Shangri-La's global standards haven't changed over the years.) They made sure guests felt completely comfortable. The Horizon Club's breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinner offer incredible value for money, and the service is excellent. My husband and kids both said this was an excellent hotel choice. It's also convenient for shopping, and they even gave my child a gift! 💝

To my surprise, I had fully expected hostels in Hong Kong to be basic, but this one was incredibly comfortable. The four-person room had an en-suite bathroom, which was super convenient. The beds were also very comfy. They even offered luggage storage after check-out. It made my first solo trip at 19 a truly great experience!

A nice and clean hotel. Location is easy to find. The drop off and pick up point outside the lobby is street level so it is very convenient if you bring a large luggage. There is a night market at Temple street across the street. If you like dim sum for breakfast. There are two dim sum cafe near by. Value for money and very satisfied with the experience.

My flight was delayed, so I didn't get to check in until after midnight. The hotel front desk generously upgraded me to a suite, which genuinely moved me. In my decades of staying in hotels in Hong Kong, I have never experienced such wonderful treatment. We arrived late, maybe 11.30pm, but were greeted warmly and checked in smoothly. The room was small but the bed was comfortable and the environment peaceful. Shower was hot and worked well, all towels and linen were clean, toilet was clean, and the room itself clean enough. It looked like it must have been a child's bedroom once because there were glow-in-the-dark decals of planets stuck on the walls and ceiling. This room is fine if you are traveling on a budget and need somewhere to sleep and keep your things while you explore Hong Kong, location is away from the centre but metro a short walk that will take you straight to Central Station. Was a bit difficult to find down a back street.

The location is excellent, right across the street from Tin Hau MTR Station Exit A1, making transportation very convenient. You can even walk to Causeway Bay. Nearby, there's Tin Hau Temple and Victoria Park, and within a one-kilometer radius, there's a great selection of food. The room was clean; although the size can't compare to mainland hotels, it was perfectly adequate for two people. The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. There was no impolite behavior towards guests from the mainland. When I checked in, they even offered to help with my luggage, which was a very comfortable experience.

Took my kids to Hong Kong to watch the Ronaldo Saudi Super Cup final. Saw it opened in '09 and decided to take a gamble on it. Turns out, it completely exceeded my expectations! A veteran five-star hotel truly is in a league of its own. As soon as we walked in, we saw a signed Ronaldo jersey – the atmosphere was incredible! Facilities: Even though it opened in '09, it's incredibly well-maintained. Cleanliness: Spotless, absolutely nothing to complain about. Environment: No weird smells at all, a pleasant surprise. Service: Excellent.

I booked this hotel three months in advance for a family visit in Hong Kong. It's very close to where my relatives live, and for Hong Kong standards, the room size is quite spacious, offering excellent value for money. It's super convenient to get to – just turn right after exiting Chai Wan MTR Station, and you're at Youth Square. We stayed on the 13th floor; although the hallway felt a bit retro, the building's facilities were great, and the air conditioning was strong. The room was clean, and both the AC and hot water worked perfectly. I particularly liked the sink. The bathroom was small, only big enough for one person; if you're a larger person, even turning around might be a bit tight. I prefer not to have housekeeping, so I kept the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on for a few days. They offer a complimentary simple breakfast from 8-10 AM. There are plenty of good eateries around, and they're generally cheaper than in the bustling city center. There's a restaurant called Tak Sing Restaurant where you can enjoy dim sum for breakfast. Overall, this hostel offers good value for money.

The receptionist is efficient and fast. The room is quite clean for the price i paid. If you're someone especially solo traveler who travels in budget and just needs a place to sleep, i recommended this hotel. The location is in the center of the city, busses and subway easily accessible on foot, the hotel is on the 3rd floor and lift available. There are plenty of restaurants on the ground floor, and the convenience store is within walking distance.

Considering how space is at a premium in Hong Kong, this hotel is pretty decent. Traveling solo, the single room was just right. The room even came with mainland Chinese power outlets. The host was very friendly and quick to respond to messages. It was also easy to find. The location is great for getting around, with the MTR station nearby. The only minor issue was that the room wasn't very soundproof. Despite that, I'd definitely stay here again on my next trip to Hong Kong.

I'm a solo female traveler. The room is super small, but fantastic for the price and location. The entrance is right next to the metro stairs, so no wandering around searching and getting tired. You just have to take the lift on the right hand. The staff (female) were incredibly helpful — messaging me clear directions, providing all the information from booking onward, and being so accommodating. The room amenities were fully equipped. The only downside was the entrance, which felt a bit scary imp. And the floor/layout is just like the photo.

Pros: 1. **Upgrade**: Upon check-in, they proactively upgraded us to a classic suite. I suspect this was a thoughtful gesture, as their standard rooms are quite small, and the staff probably noticed our family of three had a lot of luggage. 2. **Convenient Location**: The hotel is very well-located for exploring. There are famous restaurants nearby, such as Australia Dairy Company and Mak Man Kee Noodle Shop (Michelin-rated). The hotel provides a food map at check-in. Temple Street Night Market is within walking distance, and there are several seafood stalls nearby selling live mantis shrimp, crabs, and razor clams. We didn't get a chance to try them this time, so I can't comment on the taste. It's also a pleasant walk to Tsim Sha Tsui and Victoria Harbour during the day. 3. **On-site Dining**: The hotel itself has a rich variety of dining options within its food street. 4. **Airport Shuttle**: The A21 airport bus is very convenient. It costs around HKD 30 (half-price for children) and you can get off at Ning Po Street, then it's a five-minute walk to the hotel. Payments can be made via WeChat Pay, Alipay, or credit card. Each person needs to scan their own QR code; you can't use one for multiple people. Make sure to prepare your payment beforehand, or you might get a scolding if you're too slow, and they don't give change. Cons: 1. **Aging Facilities in Suite**: The hotel is older, though it was renovated around 2018. While the room was clean, the facilities felt a bit dated. The most inconvenient part of the suite (room 725, for reference) was having to shower in the bathtub, as there was no separate shower stall. By the end, the water would reach ankle-deep, which was quite exaggerated. I didn't complain because I felt it was due to the old building structure, and I doubted staff could fix it immediately. 2. **Restaurant Experience (Yat Tung Heen)**: One of the reasons we chose this hotel was the convenience of dining at Yat Tung Heen (a Michelin-starred restaurant). However, I personally found the roast meats and dim sum to be rather ordinary. If you consider yourself a connoisseur of roast meats and Hong Kong-style dim sum, you might want to skip it. The dining environment was pleasant, though. Furthermore, we booked for Monday lunch at 11 AM, not during a busy weekend, but by 12 PM, the manager came to ask if we wanted to order anything else because 'there were other guests waiting.' This was very impolite. If a customer declines extra orders, there's no need to add that last part; they might even appreciate the offer more. This incident further solidified my impression that customer service in Hong Kong can be lacking. After his question, I felt rushed and the rest of the meal was very tense.

## Environment: The hotel room was quite spacious and comfortable. It's very close to Victoria Harbour, and walking to Tsim Sha Tsui East and Tsim Sha Tsui MTR stations is also very convenient. I'm not sure if I got an upgraded room type, but my room even had a walk-in closet. ## Service: The hotel room essentially met all my requirements. I chose a twin room this time because the king-size rooms were smoking rooms. Our room was on a higher floor, close to the elevator yet still quiet, and we could see a partial view of Victoria Harbour from outside. The front desk service was exceptionally thoughtful; they would proactively offer help whenever they saw us. ## Hygiene and Facilities: The hotel seems to have been recently renovated. All the amenities are quite new and very clean, though the facilities themselves are relatively classic/retro. ## Breakfast: Breakfast was a mix of Western and Cantonese cuisine. The variety of dishes was relatively rich, and the Cantonese dim sum was delicious. They offered freshly cooked pork rib or fish ball noodles/vermicelli, and the most thoughtful part was being able to add as much noodles or vermicelli as you wanted.

Upon arrival, the front desk informed us that twin rooms typically require at least a week's advance booking. They offered a complimentary upgrade to an 1.8-meter king-size bed. Ultimately, we opted to pay an additional 500+ per night to upgrade to a suite, which included an extra bed in the living room and complimentary children's breakfast. The hotel is conveniently located directly above Harbour City mall. It's approximately a 10-minute walk from West Kowloon High-Speed Rail Station, and both Austin and Tsim Sha Tsui MTR stations are also about a 10-minute walk away.

Starry Inn is a walking distance to Ladies Market, restaurants and shops, Sneaker Street, banks, buses, etc. The staffs on WeChat are very responsive, nice and friendly. She allowed us to extend for an hour before check out. The room is fine, but the elevator in the building didn’t work twice or three times our stay. The wifi is sometimes slow or very slow, and you’re disconnected at times. The water in the toilet floor takes times to dry and the water stays longer when you take a shower. The aircon needs to be turned on at all times because it doesn’t work well, or the cooler needs to be repaired. The room is very hot. But overall, we had a peaceful stay. You can stay here if you want to save money for a group of 4.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean even though there were signs of wear and tear. Be aware that they provide daily disposable paper bath towels instead of cloth towels. No hand or face towels provided. I had to ask for hand soap to be provided to us. Hand sink shares the same area with beds. The safe battery was low by the fourth day. Bed linen was great and room keeping services were outstanding. We needed cleanup from an accident and they took care of it promptly for us.

I feel extremely lucky to have found this little gem in Hong Kong. The dorms are extremely well laid out, with plenty of space for the suitcase and personal belongings. The bedrooms and bathrooms are sparkling clean, the common areas are cosy, there's everything you need in terms of kitchen utensils, the water pressure in the showers is amazing, the rooftop is a really place to hang out in the evenings, and most of all, the host Patricia makes you feel at home. I got there solo, and after a few nights I'm leaving with a bunch of friends. This place certainly has a magical power 😊

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient! 📍Room 503, 5/F, Haiphong Mansion, 53-55 Haiphong Road, Tsim Sha Tsui (Take airport bus A21 to stop 14, Cameron Road, takes about 54 minutes). Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station is right downstairs, and the A21 airport bus stop is about a 10-minute walk away. I chose this hotel specifically to attend a concert at Kai Tak! It's about a 10-minute walk to Tsim East MTR station (from Tsim East, you can take the Tuen Ma Line directly to Kai Tak Sports Park, which is only 6 stops and very convenient, costing 6.8 HKD one way). However, the room is indeed very small. It's perfectly fine for one person, but for two adults, it might be a bit cramped, especially with luggage! So, I highly recommend it for solo travelers! Within about a 10-minute walk from the hotel, you can reach New Harbour City, K11, Avenue of Stars, and China Ferry Terminal (where you can pick up City Line tickets). For food, I recommend: 1. Genki Sushi on the 2nd floor of Silvercord, a 5-minute walk away (great value for money, the sashimi is really fresh, and the tuna trio is a must-try – the melt-in-your-mouth tuna is absolutely divine). 2. For dim sum breakfast, Kowloon Cafe is just a 3-minute walk downstairs. Their breakfast set includes a Hong Kong-style milk tea for just 3 HKD, and it tastes very authentic.

This family hotel is in a great location, just two blocks from Mong Kok Station. There's an elevator. The rooms are small, only 10 square meters, but they have everything you need (private bathroom with shower, air conditioning, a fan, and an adapter). Our room didn't have a window, but thankfully, we didn't feel stuffy. The owner is a beautiful woman and very kind. The staff are also very helpful and eager to help with any questions. We arrived early, and the owner even said there were two rooms available for us to choose from. The door requires a code, which is very secure. The value for money is excellent.

A pleasant surprise! There's a lively bar street right downstairs, attracting a fun international crowd. The front desk staff were excellent, explaining everything very clearly. The location is truly central. The bathrooms here are exceptionally spacious. Fantastic value for money! Just a heads-up, they no longer provide toothbrushes and toothpaste, so remember to bring your own.
