Tolle, liebevoll gestaltete Oase. Wir hatten eine riesige Familiensuite mit gigantischem Bad, inkl. separater Aussendusche und kleinem privaten Pool. Das servierte Essen war exzellent, das Personal zuvorkommend, sehr aufmerksam und herzlich. Das Fitnessstudio bietet einen tollen Ausgleich zum hervorragenden Essen. Jeden Tag wurden alle Autos ( maximal ca. 20 Gäste) von Hand gewaschen. Sehr und uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen.

Prachtige plek met ongekende service. Er wordt alles aan gedaan om het je naar je zin te maken. De kamer was super groot en heel mooi. Ook het eten was er heerlijk. Wij hadden een lekker band en zelfs dat werd voor je gedaan. Nog nooit zulke ui**untende service gehad.

Wunderbarer Ausgangspunkt für den Addo Elephant Park. Die Anlage ist ein kleines Paradies, welches von wunderbaren Menschen geführt und unterhalten wird. Frühstück und Abendessen haben unsere Erwartungen mehr als erfüllt. Freddie spielt jeweils auf dem Piano zum Abendessen und so ergibt sich auch eine festliche A**osphäre. Unser Luxury Room war sehr gross und rustikal eingerichtet, hatte Kühlschrank und Safe und sogar 2 Duschen (1 x Aussendusche). Alles war sauber und perfekt. Wir haben diesen wunderbaren Ort schon zum 2. x besucht. Nach Covid sind die Buchungen noch im bescheidenen Rahmen.

Spacious room and good quality food. The choice for dinner is limited. You don't have a choice of starter (I think it's always soup). For the main course there is a choice of two. The hotel could use some renovation. This was our third visit in at least 15 years and nothing has changed in that time.

Woodall country house and spa has to be one of the best accommodations we have stayed at! The room is spacious and clean! And comfortable beds. I am here at the moment with my husband and two boys ages 4 months and 4 years old. And I have a nut allergy and they have catered every way! Made dinners for us that aren’t in the menu to cater for my allergy. They have made dinners for my son. The freshness of the food is amazing. We also have had a baby that’s teething and been unsettled at evenings and they have brought the food to us. There is one person I will never forget and it’s Freddie! His such a beautiful soul. Supported us in the stay helped us when baby been unsettled by arranging the dinner in the room! Making sure we are okay and there if we need anything! During my stay all I have seen is him caring about his guest making sure his okay. I have seen him run around making sure everything is okay! His what makes the place amazing and without him I don’t know what the experience would be like. The staff here are wonderful and so lovely and I hope they realise how much they have made this stay incredible! I am so grateful to all the staff and Freddie. Also what I love about this place is the little touches that make the heart feel loved! I really hope Freddie knows how much his loved by the guest and how much we have appreciated all he has done for us. The pool and spa is fantastic and clean! The beautician is lovely and trea**ents are amazing. The breakfast is lovely and fresh! I can’t wait to come and visit again!

Simply outstanding hotel near Addo Elephant Park. Special mention for Edwin on front of house who accomodated our dietary needs perfectly. The food was simply spectacular at both breakfast and dinner and the setting overlooking a pond with weaver birds is very special. The photos dont do justice to the welcome you receive as the futnishings are a little old school, but the room size and facilities are very good. Trips to Addo on their landcruiser were easy and trouble free.

This has got to be one of the most beautiful places to stay in S. Africa. We were lucky and received an upgrade which was perfect. The staff are extreemly friendly including all those with responsibilities and includes the chamber maid, just everyone. I would recommend this hotel in all aspects whether it be the location, the rooms, the service, the restaurant, the safari tour. We had a lovely time. Thanks to you all, David

Woodall is very close to Addo, hence the perfect location to start or end your tour through Addo. The property is surrounded by plants, trees, and beautiful flowers which makes it very special. You rather feel your a bit in a jungle, though. Freddie is great host and is doing its u**ost to serve all needs of his guests. His piano skills are amazing, especially considering that he never took any piano classes. Also all other staff member are very heartfelt. Eduard (sorry if I misspelled it) is such a great guy. A joy to talk to him and really taking good care of the hotel. Dinner was good, so was breakfast.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by Freddie who turns out to be an amazing individual. He went out of his way to welcome us, show us around, make sure every one of our needs was met and even serenaded us guests with some amazing piano music during dinner. Freddie is a gem and literally there to help 24/7. The facilities are stunning and even the smallest details have been taken care of. Our room had a plunge pool in the private courtyard surrounded by lush greenery. Pre-dinner drinks are served on the veranda overlooking a beautiful pond with copious birds and ducks to be seen. As evening approached, Freddie lit some lamps that turned the evening truly magical. Dinners were beautifully plated and scrumptious. Our guided drive into Addo was wonderful and we saw elephant, hyena, lion, zebra and much more. Godwin was our guide and it would be worthwhile requesting him specifically. All in all, our stay was memorable and unforgettable. Thanks Freddie and the great support team you have. And no small thanks to our guide Godwin.

We had the most wonderful time at Woodall! The entire staff is incredibly kind and attentive, with little handwritten notes in our room every day and hot chocolate prepped for us after we got home late after a game drive. Freddie helped us organize an amazing game drive in a nearby reserve. The room was super spacious, beautiful and cozy, with an amazing bathroom and outdoor shower. The food was outstanding and the grounds are beautiful to walk around and explore, or just sit down and listen to the birds or read a book from the library. Spa trea**ent was great too, so I can only wholeheartedly recommend staying here!

What a fantastic place! The staff were all wonderful, and service exceptional. It is the little things: when we returned late from a safari trip, there was a flask of hot water and a tea tray waiting; the next morning when we were sad to have missed Freddy playing the piano the night before, he sat down at breakfast and played a few lovely tunes; the happy greetings from staff every day; the very personalised welcome letter and turn down service. The food was excellent and the accommodation was authentic and gardens beautiful. Eduan runs a pretty good ship here with humour and style. It is close to Addo Elephant park, and the package recommended included Schotia Game Reserve. I recommend both, but particularly Schotia. Best day we had in SA! Thank you Eduan, and all staff. A great holiday made better!
