A very nice place to stay if you want to visit Kathmandu. The hotel is situated in a very quiet part of Kathmandu, tucked away from noisy road traffic. Bodnath stupa however is only 10 min walking away, and the city center is easily reachable by taxi. Breakfast is served as a buffet and offers everything you want. There is also the possibility to eat diner in the hotel, which we did and we really enjoyed the good food. The owners of the hotel are very friendly as well as the staff, all of them very kind and helpful. The rooms are nicely decorated and have a good bed and a relaxing rain shower. In brief: a very good place to stay run by very friendly hosts.

Lovely 5 night stay, a clean quiet haven in the hubbub of KTM. Great continental breakfast, free filtered water, great shower and bed, Yves and Maya are very helpful, Maya cooks a great Thai meal Only minus: the youngsters at reception we re not always very experienced or did not speak enough English to help with simple questions

Very clean hotel. Operated by Belgian/German/Nepalees couple and up to Western standards. The hotel employs under privileged people. Everyone was very kind and helpful. Continental breakfast buffet and eating a nice dinner in the hotel is posible.

ViaVia in Kathmandu is an excellent choice for an prolonged stay in Kathmandu and more quite stay in this busy city. Situated close Bodnath Stupa you will enjoy the excellent rooms and the warm hospitality from the owners who can help you to make your stay in Nepal more enjoyable. Taxi rides to thamel are not expensive (500 Rs voor a single trip).

We went to Kathmandu as the start of a roadtrip and we were very happy to see the excellent rooms. They were very clean and spacious. The food was always delicious. Very friendly host who gives very good recommendations for side seeing.
