The staff were truly all lovely and accommodating.

Wonderful!

The Oaklander was an excellent, new lodging option while visiting family and friends in Oakland and Squirrel Hill. Valet parking was convenient (if pricey) and the rooms were well furnished, comfortable and clean. The on-site restaurant was pretty good, especially for breakfast. Will most likely stay here again when my travels take me to Pittsburgh.

The Oaklander was outstanding in cleanliness, service, decor and friendliness of staff. It is truly a five star hotel. We didn’t want to leave!

Comfortable beds and room. Appreciate you having an umbrella for guests. Great coffee machine. I wish you also offered tea. The restaurant is excellent.

Our favorite place to stay in Pittsburgh. It's very convenient to Carnegie Mellon University where our son goes to school.

Great place to stay. Family friendly, clean, terrific location for visiting Pitt or CMU. Rooms have great views and a nice vibe.

The staff at this hotel is over the top. They go over and above to make you feel welcome and comfortable. And the food is fantastic.

We had an great stay, and really enjoyed everything. My only problem was with yhe pillows. I was surprised that such a nice hotel would have foam pillows. Not comfortable at all.

Everything was perfect

Would have given five stars except dinner in the hotel let us down a little. Several menu items weren't available and then a few weren't consistent with expectations given how nice the dining room and staff were. For example, we had the octopus appetizer and it looked like they took the octopus through a grater -- with balsamic dressing on the greens completely overpowering any flavor the octopus might have had. The burger and fries, were, however, yummy.
