My son and I are traveling cross country when we came across this gem of a motel. I was road weary and he was itching to not be in the car. Finding this motel and the incredible service and kindness of the owner was a gift in a storm, literally there was a crazy thunderstorm. If you are in town, don't bother with the motel chain, go with the Cowboy Inn. The room was clean and felt comforting like staying at grandma's house. These rooms have recently been remodeled, so you get the best of both comfort and cleanliness.

This is a bit of a dated mom&pop motel, very quaint, but clean. Under new ownership? It appears the owner is slowly upgrading the building. We noted new doors on about half the units, and upgraded/newer items in our room. Everything worked. It was clean, nothing missing. Very basic but not wanting. Owner most accommodating and helpful. We had an issue with our itinerary (our fault) and he was most gracious in adjusting to our needs. We observed the owner going to great lengths to accommodate another guest with issues of accessibility. Edgemont isn’t exactly a “destination” unless you are a cyclist, but this place contributes greatly to floating Edgemont by accommodating Mickelson Trail cyclists.

Wonderful reception from the owner and staff, immaculate rooms and lots of character in a tiny town. We would definitely stay again. Beds were great, and the Inn was right on the bike trail which our husbands really appreciated. We didn’t expect to find the Inn so inviting but it certainly was!

I recently stayed there and loved it. I highly recommend this place. Clean, great shower, comfortable bed, nice room, friendly staff. I would absolutely stay here again. Edgemont is a quaint town, from another era.

We stop in while traveling to Colorado. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and tidy. Bed was comfortable but only a double. Plenty of hot water and cool air conditioning. The outside looks a little rough but the rooms were nice. It was very quiet and we got a good night’s rest.
