MAKE SURE TO CHECK FOR BED BUGS. We booked a stay for one night, 11/3-11/4. We stayed in room 103. We believe that we were bit by bed bugs during our stay. My friend stayed in another room at the same location. His family also experienced bites from the stay. My wife has bites on her ankles and I have bites all over my legs and arms.

Stayed one night on 9/16/23. This motel has seen its day. It's way over due for a full renovation. The rooms are dirty and dated. The shower fixtures are work. Stains on the rear back to bathroom door like oil or water. Bathroom door is banged up so you can see exposed particle wood. Moth was flying around the room and attracted to my cell phone. Spend a few more dollars and stay at a newer select service hotel like the Holiday Inn Express. I do not recommend you stay here even if it's just one night. The rate I paid was only $30-40 less than Holiday Inn Express and they provide a decent breakfast.

This is a very pleasant two-star motel near the center of Atascadero. The rooms were clean, the front desk staff very friendly and I was very comfortable for my overnight stay. A good value for the price.

My husband and I stayed 1 night. When looking for a hotel I check their site to make sure it has what we are looking for in a hotel/room. 1. Value, 2. Rating, 3. Breakfast, 4. Refrigerator, 5. Microwave, 6. Pool/Hot Tub. We were very disappointed when checking in as the hotel describes its rating as 3/4 stars and states breakfast is served everyday. The room should have been rated a 2: Pillows to soft, Matress was lumpy, room counters were dusty, back of bathroom door wet marks, Also, we asked if they served breakfast and was told No!

Great location. Large clean room with two tvs in each family rooms. Pool is large the kids loved. Japanese restaurant located across hotel. Next to downtown, bars, & Dennys. Noticed Tesla charging station across. We will be back for a quick weekend get away.

I read some of the reviews and so glad we didn't listen to them...extremely clean and comfortable! Very big rooms with nice big picture windows. We almost spent $50 more at the chain motel down the road....do not pass this gem up! Exceptional

This motel was the perfect place for my 5 day stay waiting for a medical test and visiting with family and friends. Large, clean, comfortable ground floor room with my car parked right outside. Everything I needed including comfortable bed, bathroom with good counter space, refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, table with 2 chairs, big desk with comfortable desk chair, TV with plenty of channels, place to hang clothes, dresser, nightstands, good heater/AC, good windows for natural light and fresh air and with room darkening drapes and sheers, patio with chair, town center location with easy walking to restaurants, groceries, drug store, movies, auto parts, coffee etc. Helpful, kind, friendly staff. Very reasonable cost. My only issue was that the WiFi wasn't very good, and I would have used my mobile hotspot if needed anyway. From now on this is my happy place to stay whenever I'm in the area. I'm grateful to have found this motel on **********.

Overall this motel is adequate. The front office staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. The property leaves the outside lights on all night so if you like a dark room, bring a sleeping mask. The price was good for a no frills stay.

Room 103 has a leaky toilet above the room that would leak right on top of you when using the one in #103 requiring you to take a shower after your impromptu shower. From the looks of the ceiling it has been leaking for some time. When we told the staff they looked surprised, but offered no compensation for it...thanks for telling us, have a good day. Other than that, it was a good stay.

First room we were given smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. Went back to get a new one we could hear the manager complaining that it was just cleaned and in no way was smoky. (She definitely sounded like a smoker, so I think her judgment was off). Second room was fine, no cigarette smell, but lots of cigarette butts on the ground outside and on the staircase. Bed was old and very uneven, pillows were super flat, shower had crappy pressure but at least it was hot. I know it’s not the Ritz, but I expected a bit more considering the raised holiday rates and for the management to believe us when we tell them the place is smoky. I won’t be staying here again unless it’s the only option.

This was my first time staying here. It is now one of two places I will stay at when I'm in the area.

Although we reach hotel late night, stuff was warm and very welcome.

Older facilities, but well kept, friendly staff, would stay again
