Unfortunately, the pictures and reviews are FALSE advertisment of the hotels' current conditions. We stayed in one of their Maisonettes which I did not realize is a small one bedroom, two story townhouse/apar**ent. The room was EXTREMELY outdated and had cheap linens; some has stains. The bed linens for the sleeper sofa didn't even fit. There was an additional rollaway cot that we dared not use as it looked like it was from the 1990s or 80s. Wall paper was coming off off and there was old green carpet on the balcony. I tried to call the reception desk number given to me at check-in but that number did not work. Overall the room was not acceptable but the staff was very kind and our dinner and breakfast was delicious. Hotel NEEDS REPAIR AND UPDATING.

Was up at night no sleep. Rang night porter 4 times ar various times no answer. Had to call beauticians phone number to call manager. In desperation.. When night porter knocked on the door at 12.45am he said he was in the kitchen. He said the manager did not live on site. Soneone in the room above was continually moving furniture across the floor then jumping on floor. Their TV was on full blast till 12.45am and i could not sleep. As soon as the night porter knocked on the door and spoke to me the noise stopped. I finally got to sleep at 1.30am

The highlight of this place is its location & the excellent & friendly staff who makes the staying experience remarkably smooth & enjoyable. We stayed in a family maisonette which had some teething issues but staff always went the extra mile to make stay comfortable. Breakfast is good with wide choices. They have facilities for in-house dining and the quality of food was very good.

To start with price on booking was 330 got to hotel 366 30 breakfast another 30 pounds no food served during day on arrival no staff at nite couldnt get bottle water or even pkt crisps carpet filthy certainly not worth 400 pounds shocking wont be back in fact wont go through hotels .com im disgusted that was 400 pounds shud been 5 star at that price shocking hence reviews

First off the customer service is excellent. Every single person we spoke to was super friendly and welcoming, and couldn't have been more helpful. The breakfast was also really nice. The room itself does need a bit of attention though. The decoration is very dated and wallpaper peeling off the walls in some places. Our room was next to the pool so it was really warm too. There is a sink in the living area next to the kettle but both taps hat hot water coming out, so not suitable as drinking water.

We stayed in the family double room which had plenty of space. While room is a bit dated it did the job. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to help. The breakfast was a traditional Scottish served buffet. Well worth the money.

Good location & friendly & helpful staff. However the hotel is worn & tired. Breakfast was served in stuffy room at back of hotel with no natural daylight when restaurant at front could have been used. Staff serving were attentive & kind. It just felt dark, dated & worn.

Paid for a large family room with two beds for $180 and they said they did not have that available. Ended up with a tiny twin room very noisy and paper thin walls. Asked about this at reception and they said they could do nothing for the false advertising

The room was supposed to be superior. Very disappointed. Marks on headboard. Toilet seat broken. Hole in corner of velux. Printed ticket saying do not open. Says coffee tea maker in each room too.if that means a kettle. Was supposed to be a break for me and my partner was stressful. Room was far too hot.
