海洋酒店(Oceans Hotel & Self Catering)

Due to the fact that I had an operation at the local hospital. I was unable to drive back to Sedgefield that day so accomodation and an evening meal was a necessity. Due to load shedding cooked food was not available at 2000hrs

The way you treated us, very helpful and very friendly. You could see each person passion working at the Hotel. Will for sure book our holiday at Oceans again. Thanks a lot You're a great team!

A comfortable stay at Oceans Hotel, that is centrally located to everything in Mossel Bay. The staff we great and so helpful, and the space is safe and secure for our toddler to run around and ride his bike.

The 5 star designation was confusing as it's less of a luxurious hotel and more of a fancy private home on a cliff with astoundingly beautiful ocean views and beach access. For instance, not great place to bring kids who want a pool as their pool is tiny but hey you don't need a pool here given the proximity to the ocean. The breathtaking views of the ocean make this place great. I got to enjoy my morning coffee in our private deck over looking the Indian Ocean. Very little better than that for me and so if you are into ocean views, this place is top notch. However not much else here. No gym. Not sure there is a restaurant outside of breakfast and not sure that there is a concierge situation. Room is fine. Outfitted like a suite. Bed was good and large, up to US standards. Nice staff who brought us coffee to our deck in the morning. 15 min drive from Mossel Bay. In suburban neighborhood with subpar security. That said we did not feel unsafe yet definitely not 5 star level on safety side. Our room on first floor could be fairly easily accessible from the street and so had I stayed here with one of my kids or girlfriends not with my husband I might have felt unsafe.

The photos on *********** are not like the room we had for 6 persons. For example, I didn’t manage to close the door because of the bed too close… It’s true that it wasn’t expensive… But the hotel seemed empty, we didn’t see any other client at the restaurant.

We were helped by 2 lovely gentle men and because it was a last minute reservation I expected to get attitude from the people but shame they were so accommodating I would love to enjoy my holiday season there with my family again.

Location is good, road work makes it a bit difficult to find the entrance, not marked clearly specially at night not knowing the area. Breakfast was poor, not tasteful, did not experience a clean environment.

Can't fault this place, I truly enjoyed my stay.there was just no blanket so i kinda got cold at night and the heater in my room was useless,but overal the place is really good. Would definitely come again.

A very good experience with staff which was willing to go beyond the call of duty to accomodate our specific needs.Neat Venue,well priced with an awesome breakfast.Lovely scenary as well.Will lodge there whenever I travel to Mosselbay with family
