Amazing area to stay, the food hall within the hotel was fully booked for the two days we stayed so we had to travel to find food. The town is around 15 minuite drive away, we also should of had a sea view room as booked on the site however this was not the case! I would advise call up and double check that the room is sea facing before purchase. The room was a good size.

Clean double room with a spacious bathroom, housekeeping service every day. Great bar and restaurant with good food, including breakfast. Slight negative, there was an event in the bar Sunday night which meant dinner service finished early at 1930 - we weren't notified beforehand, which meant we had to go elsewhere for a meal.

The staff was absolutely fantastic!! We got in late after traveling over 24 hours. The restaurant was closed but the sweet lady who was working went over and above to get food delivered to us at the hotel. Our breakfast there was excellent. The location is beautiful, the hotel is charming and the staff is first rate. Highly recommend!!

The hotel exceeded our expectations! It's rated as a 2 star hotel but I have stayed in 4 star hotels that weren't as good. Brilliant location. Super friendly staff. Amazing value.

Great for walks, the sea belting into the rocks is just divine, the wind and cold air removing all the city grit from your hair. BUT. The location and the hotel are geographically and financially lucrative. However, Seacote LTD could have pushed the boat out and give it a more comprehensive refurbishment. It lacks a warm, inviting and sincere welcome. A flick of the head, by the front of desk admin person is not acceptable to me personally. " room only no breakfast" He quipped. Breakfast £9.50 per person x 2 people x 4 days = 8 x breakfast = £ 76, do you want breakfast then.? What happened to the 10 x 5 or the 20 x 5 hotel etiquette. The room, recently refurbished was adequate, It did not reflect the images from the Hotel website, however that is subjective. No heating in the room on arrival. It was a very cold day and on entering the room, it was like a fridge. To be clear NO HEATING in the rooms between 10am- 4pm every day .Therefore I advise you to pack extra kit for warmth, because there are no extra blankets in room.The mattress was completely void of spring, comfort and support it had been well and truly hammered, they certain had their money worth out of it, I put 2 pillows under the sheets. Breakfast, is pre - cooked although they take one`s order It was on the table in less in than 2 minutes (warmish) On the last day ,my bacon was burnt to a cinder, I complained, "do you want me to get fresh bacon" she said, rather embarrassed. I won`t be back soon, I suspect.

Friendly hotel however, the only place for an evening meal was the public bar which was attached to the hotel. The bar was unsuitable with not enough seating and local residence with dogs in there! Walked in walked out.
