After just experiencing the worst courtyard in history in Fort Worth Cityview, this courtyard was above being a wonderfully excellent experience. Very much like what you could expect from Marriott in days past- now long gone. Bistro side Rob- holy cow he was a breath of fresh air with outstanding drink creations and conversation. Rob made our stay 10 stars!!! Actually we can remember in the past, driving past Abilene, staggeringly tired, because we knew there was nowhere decent to stay. We cannot get over how much this town has progressed and become a much better experience.

Recently enjoyed a brief but satisfactory one night stay. Hotel was very clean and my queen bed comfortable. Nice bedding and nice business traveler amenities in the room, like a movable desk and a little desk by the sofa chair. Only two hiccups to mention: no soap with my bathroom sink. Only soap dispenser was attached to the back wall of the shower; and no signage showing where breakfast area was. Ends up it's between the Courtyard and TownePlace Suites next door. At check in, desk clerk said nothing about it. Again, minor issues but worth mentioning. All in all I'd stay here again. Oh, the woman running the breakfast area was friendly, helpful, and worked hard to make it a nice experience for us guests.

We stood at you alls hotel on Aug 2 through 6th 2022. We showed up they gave us a handicap room when we had a standard room . Keys didn’t work they had to open our door every time we needed in or we had to leave the latch open from the inside of the room .The room was hot the air conditioner wasn’t working at 111 degree weather . Also on the balcony of the room there was nests with crows that had eggs layed and bird poop all over the balcony we couldn’t sit outside .we asked the front desk if we could get the balcony cleaned so we could enjoy the Balcony they said our birds enjoy out hotel ! Also we asked for towels the following morning they took 4 hours despite the fact that an incident had to occur for they to attend out needs . Also Maintnance does not keep up with the perimeter of the hotel we were sitting at pool side and a huge tree branch that needed to be trimmed broke and caused an injury to one of us it took 6 people to take tree off of us.. also another morning I went down to get coffee and there wasn’t any I asked the lady if she could make some coffee she said I don’t know how to make coffee like serious !!! I had it with trying to be positive about our stay at that time I lost my respect for this hotel .. we stood a total of 4 nights ,house keeping did not once clean our room they told us that they would clean it after the second day. We were there for the YBR event so by the time we got back to the room it was to late..so disappointed we attend these events and like to stay at this hotel for the convenience of the expo center and all other ybr guest from out of town .

We had a great stay and it was due to wonderful customer service! Obviously, there’s a little renovation work going on, but that didn’t really have an effect on our overnight stay. Warren, at the front desk, was super friendly, yet professional. He answered all of our questions, and provided an excellent first impression of this hotel and Abilene. We were constantly greeted by housekeeping and grounds personnel. It was a very pleasant place! We’ll be back!

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only complaint was the pool was kind of dirty but that could be because it was super windy and debris had been blown in. Overall, a good place to stay for a quick overnight.

Great location quiet and expertly managed by a staff that bends over backward to ensure your stay is pleasant. This hotel is an oasis in central Texas. Located south of town with easy access to interstate 20. Great place to stop on the way to everywhere.
