北歐酒店(Nordic Hotel Abuja)

Hôtel au calme à Abuja. La chambre assez spacieuse. L'internet ne fonctionnait pas très bien. Peu d'espaces de rangement. La nourriture (petit déjeuner, repas) n'est pas exceptionnel. Le personnel est très accueillant. Cependant, j'ai dû payer un départ tardif plus de la moitié du tarif de la chambre, en étant member Gold et je n'ai pas eu de cadeau de bienvenue comme indiqué sur l'annonce.

Staying at this hotel for nearly two weeks I had very mixed experience - some of the staff are good and friendly and attentive and yet others are NOT. The breakfast is very poor and the selection is both basic and served badly The lounge area, while functional daily and evenings is where breakfast is served and totally impractical - with low seats etc. some days they ran out of tea, butter and the basics.. The hotel does NOT provide an iron to borrow/use in the room. As a primary business hotel this is simply disgraceful and you are forced to use laundry Sevices (at high cost). While the rooms are nice, there is noise from doors banging and other guests - Attention needs to be made of the services offered as the hotel itself is practical and nice but general standards need improving

I recently stayed at the Nordic Hotel Abuja for 2 weeks for business. I stayed in a suite. The room was incredibly clean, quiet and serene. Everything in the room felt fresh and everything worked well. The lights in the room are bright, in contrast to many hotels that seem to make everything dim. The mattress is firm, large and of good quality. I slept perfectly every night and woke up refreshed. I stayed in a suite. It was spacious, but not quite as big as what I would usually call a suite. The breakfast had a selection of fresh fruits, cereals, hot dishes, some salad items and various espresso/coffee options made to order. Room service was fast and correct every time. There is lots of disposable plastic involved in the room service. All staff were on point, professional and helpful. Really top class service in terms of being straightforward and accurate. The gym was well-equipped and rarely crowded. It was clean and usually quiet. Pleasant vibe. Overall, it was good value for money. Thanks to Nordic Hotel for a good stay.

Terrible customer service (from the manager to the receptionists to the bellmen); overpriced rooms and bland food. I would not recommend. To highlight a few of what I experienced- room service either never responds or would respond and just not show up with what was ordered; and the hotel ran out of water and had to hand-deliver half buckets of water to each room. TERRIBLE.

The hotel was ambient, clean, with extremely hospitable staff who were on the ready to assist with whatever we needed. There is a restaurant (bluCabana) in the same compound if one needs more services. I will definitely be back again for the Nordic feeling in Abuja!!

Hotel spartano, ma pulito e con personale gentile. In particolare il desk manager e una delle receptionist, ma anche gli altri ok. Sicurezza di buon livello, pulito. Trovo il rapporto qualità prezzo però ancora troppo alto. Come del resto il ristorante/bar, il Blu Cabana, dove il cibo è ottimo, ma i prezzi veramente elevati. Nel complesso ottimo ambiente. Sono un cliente abituale, e per questo, mi aspetto un livello di servizio ancora più alto.

I'm an executive and have traveled the world for business and pleasure. This trip was a very special trip. This was my first time in Nigeria and I was privileged to visit with my partner who is Nigerian. We stayed at the Nordic in Lagos and it was impressive and amazing so we decided to cancel our plans to stay at the Hilton in Abuja and instead stay at the Nordic in Abuja. When we arrived it was my partner, myself and our friend who picked us up from the airport. As I filled out the paperwork to check in someone brought a welcome drink and glass of water but for me only. Not for my partner or our friend, my partner had to ask where his drinks were. We were then told that because I was paying with my international MC they needed to hand input my card number. This was odd because again earlier in the day we checked out of the Nordic in Lagos and they did not need to do this. Finally we were told we could have 1 key to the room. I asked why we could not have 2 keys? What if my partner and I went out separately? They said this is the hotel policy. At this point I wasn't happy and told them to cancel our reservation and we would go to the Hilton. They called for the manager. I explained to him that we had an amazing experience in Lagos at their sister hotel and this was not matching this experience. He explained they only do 1 physical key for couples and I said this doesn't makes sense or seem safe. I said I'm ready to leave. He asked me to please give them a chance. I told my partner it was up to him since their treatment of him bothered me as well. He said okay let's give them a chance. The manager told us he would have an additional key made available and for us to come get it after we relaxed and settled in. When we went out for dinner later that evening we asked for the other key and the desk person told us there was no key and he would call us after he checked. He called back and said no one was aware of an extra key. Now this is a problem the key is required to actually lock the door from the inside. I have attached pictures. Also our AC unit was above the entry door but could not provide air to the rest of the room attaching pictures of that as well. The next day at breakfast I saw the manager but he said nothing to us to follow-up. When we finally checked out the following day then the manager comes over to ask have they redeemed themselves. I said no and you didn't even try from my perspective. Both my partner and I wish we just left. Like I said I'm an executive with extensive travel if the experience in Lagos had not been so great my expectations would not have been so high. Whomever manages that location needs to go help this location.

A generally nice place to stay. The manager is exceptional, he could be better supported with more empathetic front desk staff.

Great hotel, though access to it is a bit rough - the main road going to it has yet to be finished! Suffers from the usual Nigerian power fluctuations and quite patchy wifi, but the hotel itself is lovely, the food is superb and the service was great. Would happily stay there again.
