這個地理位置太優越了，關鍵房子太美了，那個院子就對着陶波湖。Steve 跟Liz也很nice。簡直不能再滿意了！下次去還想住這裏！

Can’t complain at all

Lors de notre road trip en Nouvelle Zélande, nous avons passé 2 nuits dans cette magnifique demeure. A l’unanimité (nous étions 2 couples), l’hébergement préféré de tout notre séjour. Tout était simplement PARFAIT ! Accueil chaleureux et beaucoup de petites attentions de la part de nos hôtes, Liz et Steve : plateau de courtoisie (fromages et charcuterie), café, thé, sucreries… Leur villa est au cœur d’un beau jardin méticuleusement entretenu, les chambres sont spacieuses, les lits douillets, la vue sur le lac sublime. Les petits déjeuners sont copieux et variés. Et que dire du dîner ! jetez un coup d’œil au menu, tous les plats étaient succulents. Belle table avec service d’argenterie. Bref, c’est la classe ! Belle Vue Boutique est située juste à la sortie de la petite ville et on peut accéder facilement à toutes les activités que nous avons faites : croisière sur le lac pour contempler la sculpture maorie, promenade pour admirer les Huka Falls, visite des sites géothermiques Orakei Korako et Craters of the Moon et en fin d’après-midi relaxation aux Wairakei Terraces and Thermal Health Spa (serviettes mises à notre disposition par nos hôtes). Seul regret : séjour bien trop court chez Liz et Steve.

Had the weekend with two other couples staying at Belle Vue Boutique Lodge. From the minute we walked in and were all welcomed by Liz and Steve our amazing weekend started. We were shown around the Lodge and it was more than expected. We were given a bottle of bubbles, cheese platter, box of chocolates and amazing three course dinner (which we could hardly eat... so much beautiful food) and then the next morning such a lovely breakfast. The rooms had stunning views of Lake Taupo and to a very high standard!! Would recommend this for a lovely weekend away with friends or a special night away with partner.

Liz & Steve are the consummate hosts and make your stay a well-run pleasure. The lodge is beautifully furnished and appointed. The balcony and chairs outside each room on the veranda are peaceful and a pleasure to sit and have a wine (or 2). The lodge does do a 3 course dinner and the food is superb and I would not bother going anywhere else to eat. Luxury pillows and a king sized bed make for a great sleep. A pity there is not an EV charge point, as the few in Taupo township are under heavy use with tourists.

A warm welcome from Liz and Steve to their wonderful home. A true home from home with a comfortable room with its views from the balcony to Lake Taupo. There is asmall kitchenette as well Make sure to use their local knowledge The property is a few miles out of Taupo which makes it peaceful but there is a local pub which serves good food. There are take away options close by too

Every detail has been thought of, Liz and Steve go above and beyond to make sure your stay is special. Lovely food provided, great views and relaxing vibe. If you want a special occasion celebrated this is the place to come.

Immaculate property beautifully presented and maintained with all facilities you would expect from accommodation of this standard. Spotlessly clean with picturesque views over Lake Taupo. Excellent breakfast prepared by Steve who was the perfect host.

Recently stayed here for only one night but thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We were made feel welcome upon our arrival and also provided recommendations for dinner. We enjoyed an abundant continental breakfast in a wonderful dining room with a view. Rooms were well appointed with a fabulous view from the veranda. A cheese platter was also provided at check in which was great to have a nibble on the veranda and admire the fantastic view. Would definitely recommend.

We appreciated the high quality accommodation, the personal touches and very friendly hosts. The view was amazing and would highly recommend for anyone looking for a truly boutique experience.

5 Star Accommodation!!!!!!!!!! The best place to stay, sumptuous, luxury, fantastic service, beds and linen the highest quality and so comfortable. The 3 course meal made us feel that we had died and gone to heaven, the lamb shanks feel apart, cooked to perfection. We will return Thanks to you both.

The accommodation is superb, in a quiet residential area, yet only an easy 10 minute walk to the nearest shop and restaurant. Everything about the lodge oozes quality, from the decor to the sumptuous bedroom. Liz, the owner is lovely, and was very helpful. Our room (3) has a fantastic view of the lake with a great veranda. Breakfast was delicious, granola, fresh fruits and yoghurt in individual pots. Followed by toast, croissants, orange juice and coffee. In our room was a welcome platter, with 3 different cheese, cooked meat, hummus, various pickle, grapes and crackers. In addition there was a fruit and nut mixture, chocolate bars and water.

Belle Vue was a welcome surprise in the middle of a very busy trip. A true enchanting B&B, I regret not allowing more time there. If I ever make it to Taupo again, I would absolutely stay here and will be sending all my friends, without hesitation. The view was gorgeous, the service and amenities were extremely thoughtful. It felt like the perfect combination of staying at a luxury boutique hotel and a friend’s welcoming home. It’s been a long time since I was as enamored or excited about a property.
