Very bad experience in this hotel. They are smiling and trying to lie in your face . I traveled many countries and stayed in many hotels but only here they told me the rate is low in trip.com and I should pay more to stay there, otherwise I need to cancel it. ( and the funny part that my booking is non refundable ) However they started to make so many complicated things like I destroyed the bedsheets and I need to pay double but they had what they had, most probably some washing chemical and colorful things they used. Pay attention when you are staying there, check the bedsheets cos they can come and told that it was very white and you made it colorful 😄. About breakfast nothing to eat at all. Few things are available and so hard to choose what is exactly eatable. First day everything looks good but the second day after they are cleaning the room pay attention for everything. Don’t trust them at all. Keep your expensive things , cos they are touching and checking your stuff. And after staying there second night check what they put, otherwise they can really manipulate you.

It is better than I have expected. The hotel is new, rooms are nice and clean. Free shuttle to airport. But there are some disadvantages: - location is not good - there are no gym, spa or swimming pool - late check out after 6 was not possible even after we paid extra (half of the daily cost)

Great Hotel property. Around it things are Beginning to build up but not the best location at the present. Room was good, bed a bit hard but still ok for sleeping. A small thing is I ask Room service for 3 days for a coke or Pepsi. They never had. All they had was Miranda or Schweppes. For the price it's the best I have stayed at in Addis and I've been going regularly for over 15 years. I will stay there again.

Great modern hotel, fairly close to the airport. Lots of ATMs a few feet from the property, also lots of restaurants nearby. The onsite restaurant serves good food. Facilities were good, WiFi had good connection, and the bed was really comfy. The staff, especially those manning the front desk were incredibly helpful. There’s no air conditioning in the rooms though, which wasn’t a problem when i stayed. Though it could be a problem during the summer? Dogs could also be heard barking at night. Could be a problem for light sleepers on the lower floors. Overall i had a pleasant stay. I wish i could have stayed longer. This is a great hotel to base yourself on in Addis.

A special mention to Thibebe, who went above and beyond to assist us multiple times, including booking taxis and offering helpful recommendations. While the hotel excels in service and comfort, the breakfast and overall menu could use some improvement. The selection felt somewhat limited, and a greater variety would enhance the experience. One important thing to note is that this hotel is not the best choice if you prefer to be within walking distance of restaurants and other dining options. However, if you’re looking for a peaceful stay with excellent service, Hayes Hotel is a great choice.
