銀石高爾夫俱樂部酒店(Silverstone Golf Club and Hotel)

Room was good, food ok. Cleaning staff were excellent very friendly and nothing was too much. The only problem was that every morning about 06:30 you were woken but the greens being mowed. This was a large sit on mower that was loud.

Unusual venue in the fact they are more like cabins, but nicely decorated and in nice location. Shower was cold but after figuring the water heater had errored and reset it, it was ok. Single bed was a little small for someone of my height but would be perfect for others I’m sure. Breakfast was very good Only recommendation would be to read the emails from the venue THOROUGHLY after you have booked, as we had a misunderstanding due to having different rooms for each night. For the first night they send you a key safe code and the key is in the safe next to the room, on the 2nd night it said to ask at reception. We did not notice that so when getting back to room late we couldn’t get in. Luckily they do have an emergency number to call and they resolved quickly. (Our fault but worth noting)

Silverstone Golf Course and Hotel is situated in a lovely rural area close to Silverstone race track. The chalets are next to part of the golf course so it’s really pleasant to sit outside with a drink in the evening. The room itself was spotless, the towels fluffy, the shower easy to use with endless hot water and the bed comfy. The only drawback - and it’s a major one - is that the food is dreadful. If the hotel could sort that out then it would be a winner

Very pleasant staff at the bar and restaurant but terrible elsewhere. The basin was blocked, the shower was too hot and couldn’t turn it down and the rooms and the bathroom weren’t cleaned for 3 days out of 5 days we stayed there.

Pros: Easy to find with lots of parking near to the rooms. Easy checkin and checkout. Rooms are large with a good size double bed and basic necessities for tea and coffee. Room was clean Was quiet for me but could see it being noisy if the bar garden was in use. Average: Room in need of TLC in a few sma places but overall ok Negative: Only negative was I turned up for breakfast at 7am but no staff arrived until 7.12am after i called the receptionist to get someone. The tables hadn't been cleaned since the previous evening, very dirty. Food was good though

The service was great, the rooms are quite small but lovely. For such a lovely setting the main bar/restaurant area was ok but i was expecting it to be a lot more fancy.

My only comment is that the restaurant is in urgent need of a re furb. Food served was fine.

Arrived at 18:30 place was deserted, no staff on site, everything was shut and closed up. Bar and restaurant was closed so no food or drink available, Called the emergency contact number and told that all facilities close at 17:00, hadn't received any communication from them prior to tell me this, for a supposed 3 star Hotel not good enough. To be fair the room was very clean and comfortable and very quiet being on the Golf Course and ideal location for Silverstone Circuit, just eat before you arrive!
