還能說什麼呢？至少也算是難忘的經驗吧。先說說我們「升級」的房間吧，順便提一句，還是「免費」升級的。首先，衛生和清潔這兩個詞根本不在他們的字典裡。 先說說缺點： 1. 床單上有污漬和破洞。 2. 沒有床罩，只有一條我奶奶那輩的毯子，上面還沾滿了18世紀的灰塵。 3. 空調－房間裡確實有一台，但被告知壞了，所以可能只是擺設？他們倒是為我們升級了一個迷你電暖器。 4. 天花板上的霉斑被油漆蓋住了。 5. 床周圍掛著迪斯可燈。 6. 水龍頭髒得像恐龍時代。 7. 廁所簡直慘不忍睹。 8. 發霉的衛生紙和垃圾桶，感覺像是從文藝復興時期就沒清洗過。 9. 沒有熱水，因為所有人都外出了一整天，而且顯然直到晚上9點才有人回來。 （他們7點就開熱水器了）。 10. 早餐上的麵包發霉了。我把它退了回去，結果換來一片沒塗奶油也沒塗果醬的生麵包。餐廳「經理」聲稱麵包是新鮮的，對發霉的事不以為意。 11. 咖啡表面浮著一層油膜。 12. 我的食物裡有頭髮和油漬。 13. 瞥了一眼廚房，看起來像二戰時期。 現在說說優點。 1. 地理位置絕佳👍🏾 2. 從亂糟糟的屋頂酒吧可以看到泰姬陵的美景👍🏾 你該住在這裡嗎？你自己決定。如果你決定住，記得帶滅蟲員。哦，還有羽絨被和其他所有必需品。

We went to Magic of Spice restaurant that is within the premises of Hotel Taj Plaza. I am not sure if the hotel runs the restaurant also. Regardless, we got scammed for using the UPI payment at the restaurant. I would strongly recommend not use UPI payment or credit card here. Bheem Sen was the manager of the restaurant on October 28, 2025. After dinner, we scanned the QR Code of PhonePe payment for Rs 680. Due to PhonePe technical issues, the payment was guaranteed but put on hold and would be released within 48 hours. I am not sure if Mr Bheem Sen caused the hold with PhonePe. Mr Bheem Sen said he doesn’t care about PhonePe technical issues and demanded cash payment immediately. I paid cash, but asked Mr Bheem Sen to refund me when PhonePe releases the hold. Now, PhonePe has released the hold and paid Mr Bheem Sen the Rs 680. In other words, he received payment twice. I have called Mr Bheem Sen multiple times for refund, no answer. I have emailed the police station about this incident. Let us see where it goes. I would not recommend this scammer’s restaurant to anyone. Stay away from this place. Such people bring a bad name to a world famous city. Hope they will refund my money.

As the saying goes… you get what you pay for but this place is very poor. It felt dirty. No hot water, towels were grubby and the whole experience was poor. The only consolation is I did sleep well because I was exhausted!

Très très mauvaise expérience !!! Attention hôtel et en même temps ils donnent en location la terrasse au jeune qui font la fête ( musique et danse) toute la nuit jusqu’à 5h du matin.

Place for guides near Agra Amar Vilas: many years ago I had a good experience in a place called Taj Plaza. But this time room 306 deluxe, tariff Rs 1000 (standard was only 800) not so good. Water very low pressure, so no shower. Bucket filling slow. Intercom instrument dead as a dodo. TV channels not working. Dinner and breakfast was good for me.

Après la visite du Taj Mahal , nous voulions prendre un petit dejeuner. Cet hôtel a eu excellente vue mais pour le reste contentez vous d-un café. Le breakfast continental a 1 jus, the ou café et.des toast durent comme le béton !!! Pas un chat au moment de notre passage sur le rooftop

Don’t ever go in here scammers!! I arrived in Agra with my wife late in afternoon and fancied a beer. Our hotel did not serve alcohol so I went to the street and this hotel over road had a guy standing outside and he said they have beer. I thought ok so followed him in and made way to roof top. Place seemed a bit run down but I don’t mind as long as they got beer. Guy seemed friendly enough and was nice view of Taj Mahal. I ordered one glass of wine for my wife 700 ruppee’s and a kingfisher for myself 550 rupees. Drinks took a while to arrive and guy was talking on about getting a guide and he can do currency exchange. When the drink eventually arrived I noticed something odd that my wife’s drink was already poured and she had not been shown the bottle. He opens the kingfisher which I noticed had front label scratched off and date scratched off. He poured it I took a sip and it was disgusting. I noticed lid to bottle had rust and was also a crack on the bottle. My wife said her wine tasted like a weak apple juice. I was not happy about this as we had been served fake drinks so I told the guy we was leaving and he became argumentative and aggressive. I had to firmly tell him to back off and we are leaving and he was demanding money. We was walking back down the stairs and he was getting really close so I pulled out pepper spray me and my wife was carrying and he stood back and went down stairs. I was cautious as I was with my wife and did not want her in any danger and there was more guys down stairs. We got downstairs and got the hell out of there! Anyone who comes across this place stay away I was only in Agra an hour and this was my first experience of the place with these absolute crooks!

Restaurant here was actually quite nice and could have spicy or not spicy options. Room was very cold and only had one blanket on the bed.. this is the only hotel I used my sleeping bag liner to sleep in during a 5 week trip as it didn't feel clean to me. We only stay for 1 night anyway so it was fine for some where cheap to sleep and go.. would recommend to spend a few more dollars next time and stay somewhere a bit more comfortable. Staff were friendly and tried to sell you their taxi services etc even though we already said we have pre booked everything. But once you get past that it is ok. Nice close walk to the taj, just straight down the street. Good location.

On nous a conseillé cet hôtel pour la vue sur le Taj Mahal. Et c'est effectivement le seul point fort de cet établissement. La chambre que nous avons eu laissait à désirer. Elle était humide et l'odeur était très désagréable. Je ne parle même pas de la propreté de la salle de bain Nous y sommes allés au mois de janvier et il fait frais la nuit à cette époque de l'année. Nous avons demandé du chauffage et on nous a demandé 500 roupies supplémentaires. Je précise que nous avions pris une chambre "Deluxe" avec climatisation (A/C). Heureusement que les couvertures supplémentaires étaient gratuites ! Malgré tout, si vous souhaitez comme nous un hôtel très proche du Taj Mahal (600 mètres de l'entrée est), cet établissement est très pratique et peu cher.

I have been to this place a few times. The food is impeccable and worth every cent. Order for their very very spicy Chicken biryani ( A must have). Their Rooftop cafe is great place to enjoy in the evening with a majetic view of Taj Mahal.

Disclaimer, we didn't stay here. We were struggling locally to find anywhere that sold beer, and we're really keen to find a nice roof terrace to enjoy one. This place didn't disappoint. Upon asking at the restaurant, the staff kindly showed us to the roof and opened up the roof terrace for us. We were the only ones up there and they waited on us all evening. The food was exceptional, and the staff were extremely accommodating. A fantastic little visit for us, just what we needed before our night bus to Varanassi.

Best hotel to see Taj Mahal - walking distance from the east gate- no need for transport to see the Taj, quiet spot and room with view very nice view. Close to plenty of other restaurants but being that close to the beautiful walk to the Taj was amazing. Travel Manager Aman can assist with other Agra experiences and a driver who works for the hotel. He arranged tickets /transport to nearby SOS elephant wildlife rescue and had plenty of other ideas of places to see if we’d have had more time.

I will start with the positives - the manager went out of his way to help us find a bus that we booked that travel agents in Agra said did not exist. The bus from Agra to Kathmandu stops on the side of a motorway and was due at 12.30pm. He insisted on coming with us in a taxi he arranged and waited until the bus arrived 2 hours late. The hotel also has excellent Wi-Fi on each floor. The views from the roof terrace of the Taj Mahal are superb. On the downside the breakfast is just butter & jam toast, the rooms are in need of renovations and the cleaning could do with a woman’s touch (in respect of showing men how to do it properly).
