We stayed 2 nights and it was great. The resort, the team, the food; it was an unique experience. The staff is doing everything to make you feel at home. From welcome, stay, till departure they are so attentive. We also did the cooking course with one of the Sicilian Mama’s and it was wonderful! The food (even if you don’t cook it yourself under the guidance of a Sicilian Mama) is delicious and all cooked in the kitchen that is accessible by guest the full day. The resort is relatively close to The valley of Temples, something not be missed. If you are visiting the area, definitely book your stay at Fontes Episcopi. It will be fabulous.

Firstly the people were lovely, very helpful and friendly. Secondly the room was good, comfortable and clean. So, why only the 3 stars? So we ate with them both nights….the food was quite expensive and actually was the result of the cooking classes that some of the guests were on….and this was on both nights. At best the food was average ( I am not a good cook, I would have been disappointed if I had made this for a guest, never mind if I was expecting a fee for it) and compared to other food in Sicily, not what I would hope for @ around £120 per couple including wine for a dinner. The review for just the hotel would be 4*, the rate for the weekend would be only 2* as the food is an important part of the package for us.. Sadly it is not somewhere I can recommend.

Wonderful place, wonderful service! The only mistake we made was not booking the cooking lessons with the chef. We didn't realize that we would have the opportunity to really experience Italian cooking. We won't miss it next time!

Fontes Episcopi was an incredible experience. We reserved a cooking class to celebrate a birthday and it was exceptionally well done. The class was educational, full of love, lots of laughs and delicious Sicilian organic food. (We highly recommend making a cooking class a part of your stay.) Every meal during our 5 day stay was fantastic, the service exceeded our expectations and the facilities were so clean. The farms aesthetic was full of trinkets and treasures and we had such a wonderful time exploring the grounds. October’s weather was perfect and it did not stop the kids from enjoying the pool. We traveled to Sicily to learn about our ancestors and we left with a new family. What a gift! Thank you Fontes Episcopi for a perfect holiday that we will cherish forever.

We had a beautiful stay at Fontes Episcopi . I traveled with myself and my 2 adult daughters . They had a comfortable room where we could all stay together with a beautiful terrace attached . We did a “Famiata” cooking class with chef Madelina. She was so amazing, fun and just a wonderful teacher. We made fresh bread, cuddrizune (little pizzas), and eggplant. We cooked in the wood burning stove. But was a night of laughter, wine and cooking. Everyone who works here, Michele, Kata and Sarah and others were so kind and hospitable. Aragona is a small town, so we set out in our car each day to enjoy local sights (there are many within an hour drive), and returned for a delicious meal eaten on the beautiful patio. They also have a great selection of local wines. The stay included a delicious breakfast buffet with fresh baked cakes and breads, perfectly made espresso drinks and the freshest eggs I’ve ever eaten. We met many nice people there, one who suggested we visit Bovo Marina, which we did and had a great beach day ! It was a treat suggestion. We hope to return soon !

A beautiful oasis, we stayed 4 nights and it felt like home! Scratch beneath the surface and there is so much more to the Agrigento area than just visiting the (incredible) valley of the temples. Fontes is the perfect location to base yourself- definitely do the cooking class - a fabulous experience with amazing Magdalena! The staff (Kata, Sarah and Michaela) went out of their way to make our stay terrific- thank you! (And don’t miss spending an afternoon at the pool - perfect!)

My husband and I had the most incredible time at Fontes Episcopi while on our honeymoon. The main building was full of character and history, so well styled. Our room had stunning views of the surrounding countryside and the courtyard below. What made our stay at Fontes Episcopi truly memorable was the people who work there. The service and attentiveness made us feel so welcome and that they truly care about their guest's experience. The food, wow. Lunches of cheese, meats and fruit and vegetables grown on the property were something we looked forward too, simple and delicious. And dinner was some of the best food we've ever had, the chicken schnitzel was DELICIOUS! To top off every amazing meal was a great wine list of local Sicilian producers (especially if you enjoy natural wines) and we had great recommendations with every meal. To not visit Fontes Episcopi if you are travelling to Sicily would be a shame and you will be missing out on their generous hospitality.

My husband and I had the MOST relaxing, lovely stay at Fontes Espiscopi. The staff is incredibly welcoming and accommodating, the space is GORGEOUS, and the food is excellent. The location is only about 15 minutes from the Valley of The Temples and about 35 minutes from a few AMAZING beaches. We also did a cooking class which was super fun to experience (we actually helped cook dinner for the other guests. Also, having fresh eggs and savory options for breakfast was great. 10/10 experience and would absolutely stay again.
