非常熱情的接待，法國鄉村的感覺，房間很大，但是整體風格比較陳舊，作為行程中短暫的休息一晚是不錯的。

Propriétaires très accueillants, l'atmosphère est familiale. Le château vaut le détour avec des chambres "d'époque ", sauf la salle de bain qui heureusement est moderne. La salle à manger et la vaisselle donnent l'impression d'être à une autre époque, on s'attendait presque à voir arriver des gens en habits. Repas simple mais ce n'est pas un restaurant, seulement table d'hôtes (les lasagnes étaient excellentes). Le petit déjeuner était parfait. Seul bémol, pas d'accès handicapés et une seule chambre au rez-de-chaussée. En résumé un très bon séjour, je recommande.

Excellent séjour dans un lieu plein de charme et de sérénité. Des hôtes très agréables et accueillants. Je recommande.

Vooraf deze opmerking: alle oudere reviews gaan over de vorige eigenaar. Hotel is overgenomen in 2024 door 2 nieuwe behulpzame eigenaars. In tegenstelling tot de vorige spreken ze geen Nederlands, maar dat is geen probleem voor ons Belgen. Wij hadden deze locatie als uitvalsbasis voor onze fietsvakantie van 5 dagen, ideaal om de regio Frans-Vlaanderen te verkennen. Eerst het positieve: ik was er te gast met mijn collega die een aangepast dieet nodig heeft (geen gluten, geen koemelk, geen bruisende dranken) en daar was veel aandacht voor. Men nam de moeite om aangepaste gerechten te voorzien: TOP! We hadden in dit hotel een gastromische diners geboekt (5 gangen). De maaltijden waren goed verzorgd, alleen hadden we iets 'specialere' gerechten verwacht, niet wat ik thuis ook 'gemakkelijk' kan klaarmaken. Dan de infrastructuur: de tuin werd gemaaid toen we daar waren, maar het tuinmeubilair en het terras was wat verwaarloosd. Vooral het terras bevatte 'attributen' die er niet thuishoren. De kamers, de gang, de trap zijn wel aan een renovatie toe (ik omschrijf het geheel als 'vergane glorie'). Dit steekt schril af tegen de mooi vernieuwde badkamer! Hou rekening met het feit dat dit hotel (of privé-woning zoals elders omschreven) gesloten is tussen 11u-16u. De eigenaar heeft immers nog een andere job.

Séjour dans le cadre d’une box « séjour romantique dans un château ». Affaire reprise il y a quelques semaines par un jeune couple, ancienne demeure au décor suranné. Chambre spacieuse avec vue sur le jardin, literie confortable. Table d’hôtes le soir à 19:30 précises, ne pas s’attendre à un repas gastronomique, c’est une table d’hôte. Heures de petit déjeuner restreintes (7:30-9:30), pas facile quand on est en week-end. Facturer la carafe d’eau du soir à 6 euros pour 75 cl et 4,5 euros pour 50 cl n’est pas correct. Bref, prestation décevante en terme de rapport qualité-prix. Les nouveaux propriétaires ne pourront que s’améliorer, je les y encourage.

Belle demeure avec un parc très agréable.Le jeune couple de propriétaires vient d’arriver et l’accueil y est très chaleureux. Certes, certaines restaurations s’imposent mais le lieu vaut le détour. Le village dispose de nombreux lieux à visiter. Des chemins de randonnées existent auprès du château.

A lovely young couple run this place and I am sure they have high hopes about raising its standards and making it a success. Be aware that…. You can only enter at 4pm. It then closes after breakfast and you cannot go back to your room (except in emergency) until 4pm. We were very very disappointed as we had booked to stay 2 nights but did not know this rule. IT MUST BE MADE CLEAR ON BOOKING. It is evidently in the small print in T’s &C’s . We did not see this. So we had nowhere to go during a very cold November day. We had been travelling 6/7 hours a day and wanted a relaxing couple of days before our final drive back to UK. Another couple were also hoping to be able to use the place during the day. More disappointed people. We actually paid for two nights and two rooms but decided to go home a day early and forego the wasted money as there was no way they would refund us. They did offer free drinks for the one night we were there but…! The food was homely and very nice. The breakfast was self service and we had to choose our bakery items the evening before…even what length of baguette we might like each! All in all we will not return and would not recommend this establishment unless you are just simply wanting an overnight stay with an aging chateau experience. The arrival car park area needs a big tidy up to try to make it more welcoming. Very disappointed.

Our first time at this chambre d'hote, and it was very enjoyable. We were welcomed warmly and shown to an enormous room/suite. The house is full of character. We had requested the 5 course dinner, which was French home cooking at its best, and nearly defeated us. There is no choice. You eat what you are given, but that is just fine when it's cooked so well. The room and bed were very comfortable; breakfast was a buffet affair and contained all the necessary ingredients. A very happy night's stay, and extremely convenient for the A26 north or south. The hosts are Belgian and speak excellent English. We shall certainly go back.

The new owners, since June 23, run a very pleasant B&B with optional home cooked evening meals which were regional and tasty (good as local restaurants not open). Very quiet and comfortable accommodation and convenient for channel crossing.

Chateau de Moulin le Comte is a lovely 19th century manor house hotel. It is full of character and our bedroom was massive with lovely traditional furnishings but with a great modern bathroom, again ,massive. It is located in a peaceful part of France that people usually drive past either to or from the ports. It is very well placed for those ports,however,we would happily stay in this peaceful picturesque part of France for longer and definitely stay at this hotel. The owners are friendly,attentive and efficient. We had dinner the hotel, set menu which was lovely and incredibly good value.
