Amazing place staff very kind and helpful. Momo, Muhammad, and Mustafa are the guys! Always work on your pleasure and make you feel like family. The hotel is across the river 5 minuts from the luxor temple and the city centre. They have programs as visiting the banana island 🏝 by boat, swimming in the nilo river (do not swim :) ), and a dinner in the boat with an amazing sunset.

Una excelente ubicación, habitacion super comoda, un baño grande y cómodo, lo mejor la vista desde la terraza (increible) Mohamed super servicial y nos ayudó con todo, nos ayudó a reservar el viaje en globo, estuvo en contacto permanente con nosotros y en todo lo que le preguntamos o pedimos nos ayudó (gran persona) Mustafá en el restaurante y terraza nos preparó una limonada deliciosa, tambien unas hamburguesas muy ricas y para una velada en la noche con shisha y bebidas estuvo con nosotros super atento. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

Le lenzuola erano sporche e macchiate, nel letto c’erano pelli. Gli asciugamani erano sporchi. Intorno all’hotel non ci sta nulla e l’area è molto sporca. Si sente costantemente puzza di bruciato perché briccicano la spazzatura. Di notte la zona è molto buia. Internet non funzionava mai. Era talmente terrificante il posto che anziché rimanere tre giorni come da prenotazione, il secondo giorno siamo scapati. Penso che sia il posto più terrificante dove abbia mai alloggiato.

The hotel is about 40 minutes away via Careem Taxi App.. We were a bit worried when the driver took us through a very rural setting that it might be isolated, but it’s actually in the nicer part of Luxor and 10 minutes walk from the 10 pound Ferry. Mohammed the owner is young guy running a hotel and seemed impressive witih his grasp of Italian and English. What struck me was the view from the hotel of the Nile, absolutely stunning. Mohammed asked us if we wanted tours but wasn’t pushy. This is nice because during the trip the guides sometimes went overboard trying to sell tours to you, Mahmoud has respect and patience. The access is easy, no elevator and we were in the 2nd house, small bit of a wait to get a welcome coffee which was nice. The room was fine and clean. Bathroom had no toilet paper and hot water was off when we arrived, so we’d to ask for a hair dryer, paper and towels but the other hotels always seem to have these upon request only too. The wifi was a bit better than our Cairo hotel, sometimes a but weak, a. The WE mobile network from the sims we bought in airport was marginally better. No bugs, insects, flies so very relaxing and since we stayed in November, didn’t need to test air con. Mahmoud checked if we wanted tours when we did see him, but he wasn’t intrusive. Only issue to get the hairdryer took multiple calls, we eventually got it sorted. We’d read and heard from others that there was an issue with power cuts, but never when we were there, maybe we were lucky. We’d to get a ferry every morning to get to the Karnak and Luxor temples, but it’s the quieter side of the river and I think better to avoid the fumes and noise if you need a rest after a long days sightseeing. Breakfast in morning was fine, eggs, bread and falafel. Nothing dissimilar from the rest of the hotels. Staff were the quickest in Egypt to get the breakfast, and when it came it was very good. We didn’t have dinner there considering there were multiple bars outside (one even had *gasp* Stella beer which was about 60 a bottle, the best value we found even against the local market across the river). Finally on check out the cleaner guy was helpful, didn’t need to check the room and didn’t keep us waiting. Overall, I’m quiet happy we stayed here and would give 4/5, as it was good value for money. You’re not paying for the Ritz Carlton here, Mohammed seems to be an honest guy doing an honest days work and that made our trip better. I think the improvement Mohammend is to have the towels, toilet paper and hair dryer already in the room means less hassle. Also, some recommendations in advance about the price of the ferry, airport taxi, train station ticket is good, do not try to sell these yourself.

The Nile castle guest house est incontestablement un hôtel où l on se sent rapidement chez soi. Le propriétaire Mohamed vous accueille tel un membre de sa famille et réponds à tous vos besoins. Il vous donnera pleins de tips pour visiter la fabuleuse ville de Luxor en toute sérénité. Il est prévenant et pleins d attention à votre égard nous serons remerciés sa bienveillance et sa gentillesse. Si vous désirez découvrir le véritable cadre de vie des locaux, cet hôtel répondra à vos attentes. De plus les chambres sont spacieuses et propres, nous avons même été surclassé !!!! Merci à notre hôte d’ avoir fait de notre séjour un moment extra !!!!

Super sejour dans cet hotel. Mohamed nous a accueilli comme des membres de Sá famille. Il a ete aux petits soins du debut a lá fin de notre sejour. Luxor est une Ville exceptionnelle , les tips de notre Mohamed ont ete le plus qui a fait de notre sejour a Luxor um moment incroyable. Merci pour tout mon ami !!!

Quel merveilleux séjour ! Nous sommes resté 4 nuits dans ce magnifique hotel dans une chambre deluxe avec balcon car les prix sont très accessible et les chambres sont très confortables et spacieuse. L’emplacement est absolument parfait : au calme, vue imprenable sur le Nil et surtout proche de tout. Mais le must reste la qualité de service proposée et la convivialité, nous avons été merveilleusement bien accueilli et nous vous recommandons d’organiser vos visites/activités directement avec Mohamed qui est si gentil et serviable et SURTOUT il n’y a pas de mauvaises surprises ( prix honnête, très bonne qualité de service ). En effet, nous avons pu visiter tout ce que nous souhaitons avec d’excellents guides égyptologues qui nous ont émerveillés et surtout permis d’apprécier ces merveilleux lieux en évitant les endroit bondés ( Merci Karim et Hagag ). Nous tenons vraiment à remercier toutes les personnes qui travaillent dur pour que cette endroit reste merveilleux ( Sabri, Mustafa , Mohamed and others ). Si un jour nous revenons à Louxor il n’y a aucun doute que nous retournerons au Nile Castle Guest House Milles merci

Hotel con tutti i confort e con una vista sul Nilo incantevole. Mi hanno dato praticamente un appartamento con un balcone affacciato sul Nilo e hanno anche un ristorante con divanetti soffici e vista meravigliosa sul fiume e Luxor. Ottimo Wi-Fi free e gentilezza dei gestori. Se andate a Luxor Ve lo raccomando anche per il prezzo.

Do you want to sleep in the street? Go there!!! … worst possible… we arrive late, no body in reception, we reserved by booking and when we arrive no room available and the answer was: not my problem… we paid 30 usd in taxis and no refund…

Wir haben 4 Tage in Luxor verbracht. Eine Abholung vom Flughafen wurde vom Guesthouse organisiert und hat ohne Probleme geklappt. Das Haus selbst ist sauber und ordentlich. Wir wurden vom Eigentümer herzlich begrüßt und auch die Angestellten sind sehr nett und freundlich und für einen da. Die Angestellten sprechen nicht sehr gut englisch aber bemühen sich, lernen und sind sehr freundlich. Wir haben auch ein paar Abzockversuche in Ägypten erlebt aber hier auf keinen Fall. Mohammed war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und zuverlässig. Wir haben bei ihm auch eine Ballonfahrt und eine Felukenfahrt gebucht und alles war wie beschrieben. Keine Verkaufsveranstaltung sondern das, was man gebucht hat. Er hat uns auch einen Guide organisiert der uns noch einige Stationen gezeigt und viel erklärt hat. Auf der Dachterrasse kann man sehr schön sitzen und hat Blick auf den Luxor Tempel. Vor dem Hotel gibt es jede Menge Boote die einen über den Bil transportieren. Die Lage des Guesthouses ist super! Wenn wir nochmal nach Luxor kommen dann kommen wir auf jeden Fall wider! 10 von 10 Punkten :)
