盧克索旅館(Luxor Guest House)

Emplacement idéal au bord du Nil sur la rive Ouest, au calme. On peut contempler les felouques voguer sur le Nil et le temple de Louxor de la terrasse. Appartement très propre, restaurant très bon et surtout une vue exceptionnelle sur la terrasse située sur le toit. Je recommande !

Luxor guesthouse on the west bank of Nile in luxor,a property owned by Mr Ahmad Galal, is cosy place with reasonable rates and with good view of Nile . They have a good restaurant on the top which serves food and juices at reasonable rates. The staff are very helpful, guesthouse is neat and has a swimming pool. Mr Ahmad is a helpful person in organising tours . We stayed 2 nights there and had a pleasant stay there. It can also be booked through Airbnb.

The luxor guest house is a really cozy and familiar place to stay. All the boys working there are a delight, friendly as well as helpful. It has a beautiful terrace where you have youre breakfast and even dinner if you want to dine there; beautiful view to the Nile and all the life going on by the shoreside. there is even a pool table for those fans of the game as well as a pool in the entrance for summer time :) The room was nice, comfortable and had different fun lighting options. really nice experience for our three day trip over to luxor

To be honest it was really cheap so I didn't expect too much, and I booked it through AirBNB to... This only applies to the apartment I had inside on the ground floor next to the office... The decorations were fair enough but it could have done with a bit more furniture, a bedside table would have been nice, and maybe a small fridge as well?? It was very cold at night s while I was staying there so I needed an extra fleecy blanket which was there for the asking. I did ask about the ''kitchen'' before I arrived but was a bit surprised to find it was only a marble bench with a sink!! I went out and bought my own kettle, no doubt it will come in handy at some time in the future. Very convenient for the ferry and all the local entertainment Staff very friendly although none too efficient when it comes to cleaning the room, as is normal you ask when you want it cleaned and change of linen, but you shouldn't have to ask four days in a row. There is a washing machine out in the garden which is handy... The bed was surprisingly comfortable considering the alarming noises that came from the springs! They really need to do something about the daily smell of sewage that pervades the ground floor... The WiFi is always there but whether there is actually an internet connection t the other end of it is another matter.... A bit annoying when you are trying to do an online study course... Breakfast is served on the roof, it is a basic breakfast without any variation really so you wouldn't want it every day! Would I stay again?? Probably...

Nice calm place right by the Nile on the West Bank in Luxor. Good sized room with a comfortable bed. Great view of the Nile from the terrace. Perfect to relax while having a delicious breakfast or lunch. Mr Ahmed is always at hand to show you around and his tour bookings were all of good quality. When there was some car trouble on one of the transfers that he booked for me, he was constantly in touch with the driver to make sure I reach my destination without any inconvenience. His nephews are always available to cook a delicious Egyptian meal or to ferry you across the Nile to the East Bank.

What a beautiful place to stay….so perfectly situated. A pleasant walk from the ferry points, both private and public ,to a quiet oasis with the most stunning views across the Nile from rooms and terraces. Clean comfortable family business where nothing is too much trouble. Plenty of tour information available and we recommend the sunrise balloon trip 100%. We stayed almost a week and it was like home we were able to do all Luxor has to offer in a leisurely way.

Nous sommes restés 3 nuits avec ma copine et nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Excellent rapport qualité prix. La chambre avait une bonne climatisation silencieuse avec un bon wifi. Terrasse commune avec magnifique vue sur le nil. L'endroit est tranquille, on a très bien dormi. La piscine est très appréciable, avec un jus de citron vert, dont les fruits viennent directement de l'arbre du jardin. Le petit déjeuner est simple mais bon. Nous avons prix du bœuf mijoté pour le déjeuner et c'était excellent ! Le responsable de la guest house et son fils sont très gentils et attentionnés. A noter que notre chambre, la chambre 7, a sa terrasse privée mais au niveau de l'espace commun. La maison a aussi une machine à laver (10 pounds), des vélos à louer (75 pounds la journée) et une navette pour aller du côté Est de la ville (20 pounds la traversée). Et si vous demander quoi que ce soit, les tenanciers vous trouverons une solution ^^ En résumé, très bon séjour :)

The property is situated right on the bank of the river Nile and our room had a view of the river. The roof top restaurant also overlooked the Nile. The room itself was large but very basic containing only a queen size bed and 1 small bedside cabinet. There was a closet to hang clothes. The bathroom had 1 of those folding doors which was off its track. No soundproofing there, you can hear people talking at all hours and chairs being pushed back. The food there is superb. The man who cooks is excellent and we had a great breakfast each day which was included in the price. We also tried 1 of their evening meals. Just 1 portion filled 2 of us and they kept bringing out more food. Totally delicious and for only around $6. Unbelievable. On the negative side, that side of Luxor experiences a power cut everyday at around 5pm for about an hour . Apparently to conserve the power there. Also in order to get there when traveling from the airport you have to take a boat across the Nile. Often this can involve walking across several other boats to get to the 1 belonging to the hotel . Not easy with a suitcase and baggage, but the manager is more than willing to help. I have to say that the staff were very friendly and more than willing to help with any issues.

Had a great time at the property. Goid value for the money. Staff was very helpful and responsive to questions and when I needed help. Felt like a family atmosphere. Thanks staff, for helping me to get climatized to Egypt and it's culture 😊
