Wir vereisten Mitte Juli nach Bulgrien an die schöne Schwarzmeer Küste von Albena. Im Kaliakra Mare sind wir am späten Abend sehr freundlich von der Managerin persönlich Empfangen worden und konnten -ZUM GLÜCK!- noch Abendbrot essen nach der langen Anreise. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und unsere besonderen Wünsche wurden selbst von der Managerin VENERA mit viel Herzblut erfüllt. LEIDER entsprach dieses Jahr das Animationsteam in keinsterweise unseren Vorstellungen!

Ab 13. Juli 2022 waren wir im Hotel Kaliakra Mare für 14 Tage zum zweiten Mal untergebracht. Die Ankunft war, wie im vergannendem Jahr, sehr herzlich durch die Managerin Venera. Es war schon im vergangenden Jahr ein traumhafter Urlaub. Hotelpersonal war, wie letztes Jahr, super freundlich. Es ist wie FAMILIE. Die Managerin VENERA ist eine Powerfrau, die sich um alles und jeden kümmert. Selbst Tische abräumen war kein Problem für sie. --HUT AB!!-- Die Hotel- und Poolbar wurden in erster Linie von Milen und Casimir organisiert. ZWEI TOLLE MENSCHEN! Animation war ein große Enttäuschung!! KEINE MUTIVATION und kein Interesse waren zu erkennen. Im vergangendem Jahr war es SUPER-SUPER-SUPER!!! Wir kommen wieder!!! Wir hoffen auf ein schwungvolleres Animationsteam auch im Interesse der Kinder.

The hotel is located on a sandy beach with a gradual entrance to the sea very suitable for children. The hotel room was small but clean, they changed the towels every day. Nice and friendly staff, tasty food and they offer gluten free food. Excellent holiday. We really enjoyed our vacation.

We stayed here for the 3rd year in a row,the food is good,the rooms are spacious,location is beachfront only the problem was that we booked 2 rooms next to eachother in the reservation stated roomnumbers 431 and 432 which was next to eachtother.we already booked in november to be sure that the rooms were available and when we got there they gave us 2 rooms even on seperate floors.the previous years everything was like we booked this year it was a major setback not even an explanation on how or why.maybe next time we look for another hotel.

We booked with Flamingo for our stay at the Kaliakra Mare hotel. We especially booked 2 specific rooms next to each other. They were even written on the reservation, because we went to this hotel multiple times. This time they disappointed us and gave different rooms at our arrival which we did not expect. The hotel itself was as always good , enough space in the room and near the beach.

We booked the hotel trough our travel agency and when we arrived at the reception they told us that they don’t have available rooms and the only option is to move us to another hotel. The second hotel was far from the beach and the standard much lover. We called the agency, our holiday is booked at Kaliakra Mare hotel but they don’t have rooms available… The agency changed the booking to another hotel also on the beach. I don’t reccomend an hotel that is selling more rooms that they have and try to cheat by moving the guests to a cheper hotel.

My daughter and I have been here before when the place was called Dobrotisa. We had good time then but spent couple of summers in Mura before we decided to try the newly named and updated Kaliakra mare. The price packet for 11 nights for really good on paper. We came earlier than check up time, flight was early, and the hotel checked us when the room was available. There was a lady that was very helpful at the reception. The room itself looks good, big TV, clean bathroom, a fridge and free safe for your valuables. We are on the fourt flor and have a sea view, partially blocked by trees. My concern was the food, because in Mura we had to fight with another hotel in the restaurant. Here, the difference is huge. Enough space for everyone and the food so far has been excellent. The beach is also great. Couple of negative comments. The the toilet in the bathroom has a number 1 and number 2 flash options but only number 2 is working. That is a shame, wasting water for only a wee. The other thing is the amount of plastic cups being used. What is the policy of Albena in dealing with the hundreds of thousands of those being disposed every season? Are they recycled or just tested as a normal rubbish? Overall the hotel is great and we would to come again, if the price is right.
