Areias Village Beach Suite Hotel

Hotel très agréable, personnels souriant et qui a su s'adapter, ne parlent ni portugais ni anglais on a toujours trouvé le moyen de communiquer. Hotel propre, chambre comme les parties communes, bonne localisation. Nous avons passez de très bonne vacances en famille.

Nice hotel, bit disappointed that the children's park closed at 8pm and couldn't sit out round the bar till after 10pm. Not enough deck chairs for the amount of people staying in the hotel could do with a few spares for people to sit on the grass when there's no room round the pool. The manager is extremely rude, we had an Incident with our transfers, the manager insisted he wasn't getting involved as it wasn't anything to do with the hotel, which we understood and never asked him to. He then kept getting involved, I politely told him we wasn't getting him involved and didn't expect him to either. He then said he didn't like my attitude and would refuse us into the hotel if he wanted to. We had 5 children with us, 1 which got upset at his comment. He was quite intimidating and unwelcoming. I wouldn't stay here again.

Fantastic looking hotel as we pulled up. Our Apartment was so big. We were a couple however if you had 2 small children the Apartment would still be big enough. Free Safe which we had to ask for the key, didn’t understand why they didn’t give it you on check in. Fridge is plenty big enough. Didn’t self cater as I was on Holiday and didn’t want to cook. Air conditioning was a welcome relief from the sun. Pool area was great. Pool was cold first thing but warmed up with the sunshine. They lacked enough Parasols but so long as we went down by 08:30am we could get some shade easy enough. Pool Bar was great for drinks and snacks. Always had a great snack from their and the young lady was brilliant. Kiss Nightclub - Yes our room was overlooking the pool and the nightclub which opened at Midnight. Yes you could hear some faint thumping from the music and on our first morning was awoken at 6am by the people leaving singing and shouting but after our first night I managed to sleep through it all. Taxi we used Uber and was avg €4 to old town and €5 to the marina which I didn’t mind paying as it’s a 25 minute walk to old town. I wouldn’t return as the pool area was too small and the nightclub could be annoying but we still had a great holiday and couldn’t fault the hotel

Just returned home from the Areias Village Hotel. Hotel was lovely, as were the staff. Rooms are spotless, as was the complex. Our room overlooked the pool and got the sun in the first part of the day. Lots of complaints on various reviews about the Kiss nightclub, couldn't say that it kept us awake. If you're a light sleeper, I would request a room on the opposite side of the hotel pool area. Pool area was nice, although there is a distinct lack of sunbeds and the hotel doesn't provide towels for the pool area. Lots of decent restaurants in the area, our favourite was the one directly opposite the hotel, its name escapes me, but was fabulous. Was also full of local families, which is usually a glowing endorsement. I would gladly stay here again.

Great position, 5 minutes walk to the *****, so away from the noise and bustle. 15 mins walk to Praia da oura. Free parking, daily room cleaned and clean towels, very helpful and friendly staff and exceptionally clean throughout. We had a late flight home and towels were provided so we could shower in the changing rooms before leaving. Complimentary water and coffee pods on arrival in our room. There was also complimentary toiletries, washing up liquid, cloth and pan sponge. We stayed on the front of the hotel overlooking the pool, as a previous review has said the sun has gone by lunchtime, but we weren’t in the apartment much, only really to sleep!! There was some noise from the Kiss nightclub, but it didn’t keep us awake. We certainly weren’t kept awake by loud music or gangs of kids from the club. If we returned to albufeira, we would certainly stay here again.

A fantastic hotel , spotless , lovely staff , great pool and kids pool , with play room a bonus . Plenty of sunbeds at the time we visited , pool bar great snacks drinks etc . There is a nightclub opposite which you can hear slightly if room is facing pool not enough to disturb . Near the ***** if you like very busy and it is very busy , taxi to old town and marina cheap enough , small beach area near .

A wonderful place in a great location. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable and great facilities. The coffee machine was a wonderful touch. We travelled with our two children and they slept on the sofa bed and it was comfy enough and fine for their size (13 and 9). The pool was lovely and you could always get a sunbed. There is a little playroom for younger children too. The food at the pool bar was really tasty. The staff were so helpful. We arrived around 1pm and the receptionist came and found us by the pool once our room was ready- we were in our room around 2pm rather than the advised time of 3pm. They stored my son’s medication (that needs to be kept cool) whilst we waited and on the final day once we had checked out. There is a beautiful small beach nearby turn right out of the gates and keep walking- steps down to the beach so difficult if you have limited mobility. We got a taxi to the old town one night and a McDonald’s another night - we used the Bolt app which is similar to Uber and the taxis were very reasonable. Around 2/3 euros on the app! Brilliant stay already looking at returning!

Lovely hotel with a quiet, relaxed vibe. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. We had a room at the back of the hotel which had a limited view, but did benefit from afternoon/evening sun. The location is good: near the ***** and the beaches (one a small beach and the other the main Albufeira beach) and a good 25 minute walk to the Old Town. The weather was perfect - not a cloud to be seen throughout our stay. We enjoyed chilling by the pool every day and going out for a walk in the evenings. Only thing to improve on is the number of sunbeds around the pool/on the grass; the hotel could do with providing a few more. They were all taken by around 10am, however we always managed to get some.

This has to be one of the best places we've ever stayed in. Large clean apartment with all the necessary facilities. The cleaning was daily with lovely friendly staff. Beautiful Large pool with plenty of sun beds. Less than 15 minutes walk to the beach and less than half an hour walk to the Old Town. Wide choice of decent restaurants in under 20 minutes walk. Strongly recommend Lavrador, Festa da Praia, Cockerel and Italian Republic as non of them are on the noisy *****. There's an Aldi 25 minutes walk away but also a couple small supermarkets 3 minutes away with essentials including fresh bread. We've had a beautiful stay and thoroughly recommend this place.
