Friendly staff & great atmosphere. Room was fabulous & we made ourselves at home. Our dinner was excellent with great choice . Slept well & breakfast was perfect.

Everything about our stay was exceptional. The accommodation, the food and the staff. Wonderful place to enjoy a relaxing time away.

Absolutely lived up to its previous reviews, warm friendly pub, excellent service from such pleasant and helpful staff. The room was spacious, well appointed, airconditioned, and no shortage of tea, coffee, and spring water. Ultra clean en-suite, and a bed that hugged you when you were ready for lights out. The food was amazing, cooked so that the flavours hit your taste buds, with plenty of choices on a 'cant make my mind up what to choose' menu.Recommended for a stop over, or definitely an evening meal if you dont have the time to stay and sample the open fire and the friendly service.

Room was spotless and just lovely. Food was fantastic, and all the staff were absolutely brilliant. This was a lovely relaxing break for us and we would recommend the Marquis without any hesitation.

A fabulous Inn. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The dinner was amazing. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was comfortable and well equipped- the homemade choc chip cookies were a lovely touch!

My partner and I stayed here for a night away child free. All we wanted was a cosy pub, a relaxing stay and a comfy bed. We got all that with a touch of luxury. A lovely free standing copper bath, a lovely pub, delicious roast dinner. Good breakfast and a peaceful nights sleep. We left happy, well worth the money
