阿拉哈巴德麗景酒店(OYO Hotel Allahabad Regency)

It was my sister’s wedding at Hotel Allahabad Regency. We booked the hall for 2 days and Lawn for the wedding. On Day 1: They didn’t started the AC even after the guest arrived and they were just putting on the chair covers even 2 hrs later than the event start time. They were not serving the snacks and food items as decided in the menu. Moreover quantity was not sufficient as per the requested guest list. And to add up more they were shuffling the snacks between the 2 events ongoing at the same time. There was zero professionalism for such a big brand of Allahabad. There was total 3-4 waiters who were switching between food and bar. No dedicated Bartender. They charged us Rs.11000 for liquor license but when asked for a copy of it they were not able to produce one. They are fraud people. On Day 2: Wedding day was the heights of unprofessionalism and rudeness. For a gathering of 200-250 we could see only 5-6 waiters who were serving to the guests. And even those were just roaming where there was no guests without even asking them as a courtesy. The linens used for tables and chair were dirty and shabby. As per the contract 50% of the amount was to be paid before the function and 50% after the function. But there useless and rude ***ager forced us to pay almost 85% of the payment before the function. And for mere 15% of the payments he removed the plates from the counter in the middle of event. And the complimentary room provided to us was worst than a roadside motel with size so small and AC not working. However while making the booking he promised other room to us. There are 100’s of other things which cannot be described in the reviews but i would just say this was the worst experience faced by me in my life that too from so called reputed hotel of Allahabad. And this review cannot be closed by special review for Mr. ***dal the event ***ager. He is the most arrogant, rude and disrespectful ***ager. Since it was my sister’s wedding i was bound to maintain the decorum of the event without making any fuss, otherwise i would have thrashed Mr.***dal. He don’t deserve to be a ***ager of such a so called reputed hotel. He is a disgrace to the hotel and should be fired immediately if Hotel Allahabad Regency wants to continue with its reputation. Highly NOT recommended for any event.

I came with my family and the service provided were horrible. It was the most pathetic place to go to. From food to service everything was so worst that it was a total waste of money. Will never ever by mistake also never go back and also will never suggest it to any one. Worst and most horrible place and services. Don't go if you want to waste your money.

Me and my faimly visited for my sisters wedding ,but to a surprise we found that it's just the name but services are pathetic. They don't serve ,they use dirty linen,they put there AC on after function starts.they don't give the no of items promised in appetizers and apparently they send snacks from one event to other as per there convenience. Even after signed contract which mentions that there should be 50% advence and 50% payment after the event ,in the middle of function they don't put dinner plates saying to do 100% payment even though 85%paymemt was already done. Quote goes very right for this hotel "Unchi dukan feeke pakwan" You will only see people standing behind the counter that also 5-6 at max for a party of 200. But to my amusement not a single person was there to serve or even ask for breads. For snacks rotation of 200 people you will only find 2 boys at max. Property is highly not recommended.
