民宿自身環境設施很不錯，是一個很有氛圍感的住宿。房間裏的餅乾很好吃，民宿提供的餐食也不錯，就是性價比不高（有的菜味道偏鹹）。地理位置比較偏，感覺來這裏住的一般都是自己開車的，我們玩keswick和德文特湖的住這裡有點遠，而且公交停了衹能打電話約taxi。不過總體住宿體驗還是很好的！

Good services and nice room. Food is also nice and the environment was just beautiful. Can see liitle bit of lake from the windows of our room. Highly recommended.

Een zeer charmant hotel in typische UK-stijl.
Alles was top!
Ik kan dit hotel zeker aanbevelen.
Ook een ideaal hotel voor mensen die hun hond graag mee op vakantie nemen.
En een ideale plaats als vertrekpunt voor tal van wandelingen.
Enige minpuntje is dat er geen airco op de kamer is. Maar dat is in de meeste manors niet te vinden. 😉 Dus enkel bij zeer tropische temperaturen zou ik een andere locatie zoeken.

Amazing views, room was well appointed and bed was very comfortable. Several rooms downstairs and a bar to sit and relax in whilst looking at the stunning scenery. Ate at the hotel for our three night stay, good menu selection and excellent meals.

Our three night stay here capped our UK visit snd we enjoyed the clean rooms, beautiful surroundings in North Lake District, wonderful breakfasts and dinners. The staff were extremely friendly and pleasant!

Could not have wished for a better place to stay for my Pup's first trip away. The hotel was so comfortable, the staff couldn't do enough for us and the place was so dog friendly. The gentleman who greeted me said "your dog can go wherever you can go in the hotel." Really good food and great location - Dodd Wood is right on the doorstep.

Beautiful building in a stunning setting! Staff are friendly and accommodating with good attention to detail.
This is a very dog friendly hotel! There were a lot in the bar areas and restarant when we were there. Wasn't a problem for us but if you don't like dogs, it may not be for you.

What a beautiful hotel. Full of character and especially lovely at Christmas with the atmosphere created with the twinkling lights and decorations. The staff are super helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Overall a wonderful stay at this lovely hotel
