東景民宿

An exceptional B&B in a small village in the North Pennines AONB. We stayed here recently on a driving holiday in the UK. On arrival we were met by the host and shown around the property. There is a large family lounge with a wood burner stove made available to guests. This makes it like a home away from home. We were also given the option of a home cooked meal because the local pub is closed. The meal provided was delicious. Breakfast was also delicious and plentiful. The room was quite spacious and the bed very comfortable. This was probably the best B&B we have stayed in and I would recommend it without hesitation.

Couldn't fault this place if I tried. After a tough day on The Pennine Way, could have wept with joy at the comfort and hospitality afforded here. Everything you would expect plus lots of thoughtful extras in the cleanest and most tasteful surroundings. Would have loved to spend another night.

Two couples, we stayed one night whilst on a cycling holiday (C2C). East View gets everything right. Very cosy and comfortable. Set in a tranquil location. Good, secure cycle storage. A friendly welcome. Very helpful hosts. (They recommended local places to eat and gave us taxi contact details prior to our stay. Very thoughtful). Lovely rooms, with lots of extras, all very much appreciated, from in room fridges with cold milk and water to fluffy robes and lovely toiletries. Superb and delicious breakfast. We'd definitely recommend you stay here.
