Shahpura Gandharva Retreat

The property is beautiful, undoubtedly. But that is where it ends. Food is okay, cleanliness is sub par with dust mites on the front door (inside) and elsewhere. The bathrooms are not clean. Lizards are all over. No one answers the cell or the reception number. Food is always late. The staff is rude, from top to bottom including management. Most of the menu is unavailable. Basic fare for paid breakfast. No wifi password given. The place has nothing around for miles. You return more stressed out than you went.

Nice resort i stayed here for one night they specially arrange my candle light dinner on request i really enjoy it food is good staff is so nice really enjoy alot here i recommend this property must visit once hidden gem i stayed in tent huge space there.

One of my best trip nice resort with full of amenities luxury cottages with private pool thanks to front office staff for arrange my Jeep safari every one here is so nice so courteous excellent stay thank alot every one to make my trip so memorable.

One of the best resort in sariska we enjoy alot here lots of activities they organised specially clay pottery. Food is delicious staff is really good excellent service highly recommended 👍 we stay here one night in cottage everything is perfect up to the mark.

I stayed at shahpura gandharva retreat for 2 nights. Positives for the stay were: 1. The room was really nice n clean, exactly as shown in the pic. It gave me a feeling of staying in haveli. The private pool area was not so well maintained, but water was filled in front of us, which was good. It's a good property overall. 2. The staff were very cooperative & were doing their best to keep customers happy. 3. Activities were organised on saturday evening - bangle seller, clay art, camel ride & regional dance. Regional songs n dance activity was really great and we enjoyed it a lot. Negatives:- 1. One of the basic requirements for any stay at such premium price is to have room with strong enough ac to keep it cool, especially in the summer season. The room was big & single AC was not sufficient to cool the room to 22-23 deg. 2. On top of the above, there were power cuts in the area every 15-20 mins (trust me, i am not exaggerating). After every power cut power generator needs to be started manually. Every 2nd time, there was a delay of 15-30 mins to start the generator. The ac, which was barely able to cope up running at full capacity, was being stopped and restarted every 30 mins & sometimes after a gap of 20-30 mins. After a few hours seeing this ongoing process, we realised that outside temperature in the summer afternoon  was better than room temperature with ac running intermittently. On top of all, we did not sleep full night due to this ongoing struggle. First night, we thought this was once in a while thing. Else, we would have moved somewhere else. 3. Food was below average. I paid 4000 extra for 2 meals & food was not at all worth the price. There are no restaurants outside for 10-20 km based on the hotel location. So it is important that any stay booked at sariska has decent food options throughout the day. First night they offered ala carte dinner as there were not many guests, finally the charged Rs 1100 for 2 items ordered from ala carte menu in addition to Rs 4000 as they said it was not included in Rs 4000 (this was not told while ordering, only during check out). The second night buffet was there with very limited food options. 1 non veg , 1 veg , and so on. It's extremely disappointing.
