The place was very peaceful and I really enjoyed it.

Over all experience was good and good place to stay with family for holidays too

Wir hatten ein Familienzimmer mit vier Betten(zwei Räume). Unser Zimmer befand sich in einer Reihe von insgesamt sechs Zimmern. Die Lage dieser Zimmer ist zwar nicht einladend, aber annehmbar. Das Zimmer ist zweckmäßig ausgestattet, wobei die komplett in grau gehaltene Einrichtung etwas ungemütlich anmutet. Die hinter den Zimmern liegenden Wasserversorgungen waren akustisch störend. Positiv zu erwähnen sind das sehr freundliche Personal sowohl an der Rezeption als auch im Restaurant, welches ebenfalls zu empfehlen ist. Leider war der Swimmingpool Ende Mai schon geschlossen.

The Location is convenient but the property needs some TLC on the grounds and along the walk ways. The restaurant lacks service, I waited for 15 min without a single waitress even acknowledging me. Even though I pre-ordered my vegetation meal (only a handful of options on the menu for vegetarians-this could also be improved), my order never made it to the kitchen. Landed up waiting for my veg pasta, which turned out to be very average. To make matters worse, I found a piece of metal in my food. By then I was done! At least The cheesecake made up for the bland meal. The rooms could really do with a few basic upgrades. An extension cord would be useful to not have to put the kettle on the floor to boil water. Not very well thought out. A luggage chair/rack would also be useful. A hook for the towel near the shower. A hand towel

This hotel has everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The staff are friendly and flexible with requests. There are cute little bunnies hopping around which adds to the charm. Rooms are modern and well equipped. The scenery is beautiful. The food !!! Absolutely brilliant. The omelet is the best in an All of KZN.

This is the perfect spot to get away from the city noise. Very friendly staff. Rooms are neat and spacious. Very nice menu. Hiking trail is awesome and for those who have kids, there's more than enough to keep them busy. Waking up to fresh air peace and quiet with just the sound of nature. Beautiful animals to view and lots of cute bunnies running around.

I had a very relaxing stay, the staff was very friendly and welcoming & the food was nice. Morning walks were so refreshing.

Amazing and wonderful, this is a place to stay for any occasion. The peace and serenity is worth it.

From the time of my arrival until my departure, I experience the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. I loved the elegant feel to the rooms. The property is exquisite. Exactly what I expected and more. If you're looking tranquility this is the place. There's a few animals at sight which make the game lodge experience even better!

The facilities were nice. We had issues checking in. We had contacted them ahead of time to let them know that we would be arriving around 4pm on Sunday. They said that was no problem and that someone would be there to let us in. When we arrived at the gate, we rang the bell and called the phone number, but we never got an answer. After waiting ten minutes, we contacted a friend who was also staying there and she came and let us in. We never saw anyone who worked there until breakfast the next morning. The bathroom trash in our room had not been emptied when we arrived. This would be a fun place for families. They had a playground, a trampoline, and rabbits hopping around the yard. The breakfast was good, but it was not included.

What a great experience, feel like you could be anywhere in the world once you enter the farm. Although my visits are for work, i feel like i am on vacation.

A good stay but food was not satisfactory. pretty place with clean rooms. nothing further to report. maybe stop asking for a long review and change this to not ask for 100 characters

We really regretted staying here. From check in it didn't go well, the receptionist took us to our room, where the cleaner was just finishing and let us in. It was only a little while later when we went to go out that we realised that we'd not been given a room key! That's the basic thing of checking into a hotel I feel? The room itself was chalet style but quite small, there was evidence of damp up the walls in both the bedroom and bathroom and in fact one of our bags and it's contents got damp as we left it by the wall! The bed and bedding was modern and quite nice but the shower head was completely erratic and I'd imagine due to lack of cleaning the jets just directed water everywhere. On our 2nd day with the sun out brightly, we thought we'd lay by the pool for a few hours, being Brit's we always love the chance to lay in the sun.....nope, the first time we'd ever stayed in a hotel that has a pool but absolutely zero sun loungers! We even asked at reception just in case they'd stored them away but were informed bluntly that they simply didn't have any! The pool itself, like the rest of the "resort" has seen better days and was tatty and not very inviting. There are quite a lot of game in the grounds of the hotel, often some way off and the walks are poorly signposted. The best thing about the resort was leaving. We definitely would not return, how it gets some decent reviews is beyond me! Avoid, there are plenty of other choices in Newcastle, SA.
