班巴西納酒店(La Bambagina)

A beautiful room wonderful service. Bed & sheets were soft and comfy. Room came with slippers and robes and complimentary water. Small refrigerator in the room with some alcohol for an extra charge. Electric water kettle with coffee and tea . We stayed in several hotels during our trip and this was our most comfortable sleep yet. Frederica was sweet and super helpful. You step out the door, go down a few steps, and you are right by the church. 3 minute walk to the bus across the street.

We enjoyed our stay at La Bambagina. I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet the room was, given that we were on the main square directly across from the basilica, and there were numerous restaurants below. I have hearing like a bat and was able to sleep comfortably once we closed the glass doors to the balconies. The staff members were very pleasant, and they met us by the taxi stand to guide us to the hotel. They had a porter carry our bags for us. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was nice with both a rain shower and a hand-held spray nozzle. Regarding breakfast, they give you a voucher that provides a discount for one of the restaurants in the piazza. Even with the voucher, we found other restaurants that were just as good and less expensive. So, take a look around and then choose. If we ever return to Amalfi, I would be more than happy to stay here again. NOTE - Electrical Adapters: On this trip, we stayed in four different hotels in different cities. Each one used a combination of two and three-pronged electrical sockets. You will need to bring both types of adapters to ensure you are able to plug in all your electronic devices, especially if you are traveling with more than one person. It was our experience that there were more three-pronged sockets than two-pronged. (See attached photos.) NOTE - Shoes: Unless you are going to a special function where you need to dress up and wear nice shoes, you only need good, comfortable walking shoes. Ninety per cent of the people were wearing sports shoes, such as ones you would wear for running. This included women in dresses. Save space in your suitcase and leave the fancy shoes at home. Walking on cobblestone streets is difficult enough in sports shoes.

This was a girls trip with my daughter. We had excellent service without even arriving there yet! Federica reached out to us by whatsapp prior to our arrival. So helpful and kind. As soon as I arrived Federica and her associate came to meet us and helped us with our bags. Cars are not able to drop you off at the door. It’s in front of the plaza. We walked to the hotel and it was clean and beautiful. Our room #2 overlooked the plaza and the Duomo Di Amalfi. We selected to have the breakfast included. Very worth it. You sit looking at the pedestrians and the Duomo. Absolutely a GREAT experience and GREAT location. Customer service was 5 stars!!!

Perfect location, the staff couldn’t be more helpful. From organising reservations for us and even helping us out of a pickle with an excursion we booked. This is the only place I’d stay if I went back to Amalfi. The rooms are new and extremely clean. The best pastry shop in the coast is across the street ( Andrea Pansa ) which is also a must try. Thank you again to Andrea and the rest of the team for all the amazing advice for places to visit and for making our stay so much better.

Più che un B&B ha tutte le caratteristiche di un ottimo hotel, servizi eccellenti, la camera è accessoriata di tutto ciò che occorre per pernottare e anche di più, lo staff gentile e disponibile per qualsiasi richiesta, posizione centralissima!! Ottima convenzione con il bistrot a due passi dalle camere, organizzazione ottima con il parcheggio (anche se un po’ caro), per il resto buon rapporto qualità-prezzo.. molto soddisfatti!

Great place to stay in a great location in Amalfi. The room was very clean, spacious, and had a great view out to the cathedral and the center of the town. There are many good restaurants, cafes, and shops within a minutes walking distance. The staff was great and our overall stay here was amazing. Definitely recommend staying here!

The staff was amazing at communicating with us prior to our arrival to help coordinate meet up and with us at the port, with help for our luggage. The room was beautiful and well maintained. Everything was fantastic!

Bellissima struttura pulitissima e curatissima arredata finemente.. con un bagno degno di un 5stelle superior, posizione ottimale davanti al duomo di Amalfi e vicinissimo alle fermate dei traghetti e degli autobus. Ottimo anche il prezzo del soggiorno
