埃姆斯愛荷華州立大學校園附近舒適套房酒店(Comfort Inn and Suites Ames Near Isu Campus)

This is the only hotel we stay at when we visit Ames multiple times a year. But they have really disappointed me. I needed to change a reservation 47 hours in advance. (One-hour past the 48 hr cancellation they offer on *******.) I know it was my own fault, but I just wanted to change the nights to arrive earlier. The rude woman on the desk told me they have a firm 30 day cancelation policy (which, by the statement above we know is not true) and told me she would not change my reservation because they were not fully booked. (What? If they WERE fully booked, she couldn't give me a room because she wouldn't have one to give. But since she had open rooms, she wouldn't move my reservation.) I usually feel like I'm part of the family when I walk into their lobby, I'm there so often. So this sticking to the rules at all costs just seems like poor customer service. (Yes, I know how entitled that sounds. It is my fault I want to change an hour outside the window...but if they have the rooms and I'm paying for a room...?) (BTW: ******* promised to resolve my inquiry in 72 hours... a day AFTER the original checkout date.) Staying a few blocks away tonight. Might become our new go-to.

Our bathroom had no towel racks! Since we only had cleaning service every four days, we never had the bathroom cleaned. We asked for more towels. They brought some, but didn’t take the dirty, wet ones. Also we didn’t have a desk chair in the room. We asked for one, but never received one. The breakfast was good, as was the location. But it seemed like the construction of the building wasn’t completed.

Everything was great, but the air conditioner was to loud. It was kind of hard to sleep with it on, but without it it would have been to hot. Other than that everything was great. Food was good.

They allowed my under age daughter to stay there when ISU’s power went down. I will be forever grateful I will never stay anywhere else in Ames.

Stayed here for 4 nights and I would stay here again. The hotel was clean, updated, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast was good (had many choices).

Clean hotel with great rooms and great breakfast. Super convenient location if you have a student at ISU or are in the area for a game.

The only drawback was that I couldn't get a late checkout which really would have helped out my day. other than that, everything was great.

I was a little early to check in on the Holiday weekend but “Ashley” got me set up! Thank you! Ames is a nice city.

Nice, clean and quiet! Love staying here when we come visit our daughter at college!
