Enjoyed a lovely weekend at the hotel. The hotel is a little dated but this adds to the character of the hotel. It was very clean and comfortable. The food was excellent, it was cooked to my liking, tasted delicious, plentiful and was very good value for money. The hotel is located on the seafront and has excellent views. All the staff we met were polite, courteous and very friendly. Overall , excellent value for money and thoroughly recommended. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay enjoyable

Management made error had not booked our dates and did not respond to third party booking or numerous communications from them on error hence we lost break and money as voucher had been redeemed hotels mistake On direct communication they were rude and unhelpful, would not advise anyone to choose and get written confirmation if you do.

Really nice stay at this small hotel. We had a great view from our room which was clean and comfortable. The food choices were excellent (we had two evening meals and two breakfasts) and all were delicious and plentiful. All the staff were very helpful and could not have made us feel more at home. Anglesey is beautiful and you won’t go far wrong staying at the Trecastell Hotel.

Great location and the weather couldn’t have been better so all in all a lovely stay! Rooms were in need of a face lift but you could see they were trying to improve things . Staff were friendly and rushed off their feet on Saturday night! But coped with a very busy service in the restaurant.

Really comfy bed and the staff were really helpful ,unfortunately that's were it ends ,there is no facility to get to the rooms if you are disabled the stairs are really steep .the room was not very big and only had one chair for 2 people only mirror was in shower/toilet room ,there was a toenail on the floor that should have been picked up by the cleaners . breakfast was self service and enough to fill you but not really any choice except the full English/welsh with toast and jams and cereal's and juices ,the breakfast in other hotels of this level usually have a bigger variety of breakfasts eg eggs benedict,

I’ve followed these guys from the beach bar in Llanbedrog, where they used to be, because the food and drink there were always excellent. I was not disappointed, the Sunday carvery was by far the best I’ve tasted, the beef was delicious, and the turkey was full of flavour. The selection of hot vegetables, the giant yorkies, and the proper gravy, were first class. Outstanding value for money, and couldn’t fault any of it! The sea view is fantastic, and the hotel was so clean too. I’ll be back!

I cannot fault the hotel, which.is most unusual.for me. The staff were brilliant, the food excellent, it was spotlessly clean. I certainly want to visit again very soon. The surrounding area is magnificent with wonderful scenery. The walk along the cliffs to Amlwch is very interesting.

From the moment we arrived the check in was efficient and friendly, the evening meal was good and had great service. We are full from our delicious breakfast and trying not to justify staying another night. The lovely weather helped as well as the stunning views

Had a lovely 2 night stay here , throughly enjoyed it. We dined in the restaurant both nights. Food was excellent and reasonable as well. Good choice of wine as well. Breakfast is served in a separate room but also has a sea view, very well cooked and nice choice of cereals . Excellent service, room was spotless , will return

This is a lovely hotel. My wife and I had a nice room at the front of the hotel with a great view of the bay. The staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast was nice with a large choice. The hotel is clean and warm. We did have to climb 2 flights of stairs to get to our room not so good if you are disabled. There was lots to do during our 4 day stay, the coast walks are great and the motor museum and sea zoo are both worth a visit, they are small but are packed with interesting things to see.

I was here on business, alone, and I left quite satisfied. Rooms are not big but some boasts lovely sea views. The interior feels dated but it`s clean and comfortable The service is friendly and dinner was tasty. (If a little expensive). Breakfast was good too. Ample parking space for those who need it.

Traditional hotel but with some modernisation, particularly in the rooms. My single room was perfectly comfortable with a great bathroom/shower. Breakfast was perfect, with excellent fresh coffee. Staff are all very pleasant and efficient. The hotel has commanding views of Bull Bay. Large car park and pleasant grounds. Some nice beers in the bar, I especially enjoyed the Robinsons Dark. Restaurant food is above the usual pub standard. I would highly recommend this hotel, unless you can't manage the stairs, as there is no lift so the second floor is a bit of a climb

Dined at the Trecastell Hotel a few times this week and was thoroughly delighted with everything. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and quietly efficient throughout. The food was wholesome and tasty, especially the Dressed Crab salad and fully lived up to all expectations. Thank you all at the hotel for ensuring us a good experience each visit.

What a great place to stay when walking the Wales Coast Path! The welcome was warm and friendly, and the food was great both in the evening and at breakfast. The room was spacious, comfortable and with a lovely view (though the complimentary upgrade might have had something to do with that). We enjoyed our stay so much that we will using it for our next stretch of the path at the end of April, and are looking forward to returning.
