朋友青年旅舍(Amigo Hotel)

La cama es cómoda, el WiFi falla bastante, no tienes una toma eléctrica cerca, (prácticamente solo hay 2 tomas en todo el cuarto) y el baño se comparte con todo el piso. Tal vez habia un baño en el cuarto pero la puerta dañada no permitió abrir para descubrírlo. Los lockers no tienen un gran espacio para guardar una maleta de viaje .

I booked Amigo as it was just outside the city and I wanted some rest without city noise. The hostel was a stop away from centraal and a short 5 minute walk from the station and had some nice restaurants next to it. Unfortunately, there were no plugs next to or near my bed, so i had to sit in reception to charge my devices for a couple of hours. I had some disrespectful travelers in my room so I never got much sleep at all for the 2 nights. But that's not the hostels fault. I resorted to headphones and music to help me sleep. The stairs are really steep up to the hostel, I noticed most are like this.. Beware of vertigo. There was an en suite toilet with shower and a separate toilet just outside the room if it was occupied. There was a cheap kebab shop next door which I tried and it was very good.

Adequate or above average quality for the price, good location, clean. We stayed in a room with a shared bathroom (with three other rooms), then they were nice enough to upgrade us to an en suite, which was even better.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Despite it being hot we had a great time. The beds were comfy (although quite small) and the showers and toilets were nice and clean. We made some lovely friends and some great memories. BEWARE the stairs to get up to the hostel are LETHAL!!!! They are the steepest I’ve ever climbed in my life, and a force to be reckoned with when under the influence (we watched multiple people fall down them) which provided some great entertainment. Overall we would stay there again!

I stayed there for 3 nighs, the hostel has suffered with Covid and lack of tourism so they had to close for a year. It was a great stay, very friendly staff on the front desk. The hostel is fully refurbished with very modern layout. The staff made sure that I had the best stay as possible, would highly recommend and will certainly be back. Big Thanks!
