Kathryn is a sweetheart; we had a 4am pickup for a 6am flight, and she provided us with breakfast foods to eat before we left—not as delicious as her usual cooked breakfasts (yum!!), but enough to be able to eat something before leaving, and then have some pre-packaged breakfast foods to take with us and eat in the airport. Kathryn’s husband was watching newsmax or oan when we arrived at 4pm, and it was still on when we left at 4am, and he was asleep on the couch! To each his own I guess. Regardless, this was a nice place to stay (we couldn’t hear the tv from our room, luckily), with some outdoor space available as well in the form of decks and yard space. It’s down the street from a bus stop that can take you downtown, or you can call an Uber (which we ended up doing) to explore Anchorage. This property is in a decent neighborhood that seems relatively quiet.

Staying at Deal's B&B is like staying with family. The owners have been doing this for over 30 years, so they know what they are doing. They are super accommodating. The rooms are clean, quiet, and comfortable. It is a short walk to dining, or to the park to watch the float planes. Short, inexpensive rides to/from the airport via Alaska Taxi (907) 222-2222.

Kathryn and Leonard run a beautiful, family owned bed and breakfast. We didn’t have a hire car but had no problem walking to bus stops and using public transport to get anywhere we wanted to go. It’s in an area that was quiet and safe and nothing was too much trouble for them, they are very happy to try and accommodate anything you may need or request. We stayed there twice and used it as a base for travelling and they allowed us to leave two suitcases with them in between times, which was amazing, and we stayed in two different rooms, both of which were uniquelin the own rights. Would highly recommend.

Well maintained B&B situated in a quiet residential area. Was a bit less expensive than area hotels as we only needed it for the bed and had an early morning flight out from the nearby airport. Parking is a bit challenging if you're the last guest to arrive for the evening. Private bath was clean and well stocked with supplies.

Lovely b&b. Catherine was very helpful. Room is very large and clean. There’s a water feature outside the window, so if I leave it open, I have the soothing sounds of running water. It’s within ten minutes from the airport, but I am not hearing planes. Wonderful place!
