Expensive but very dated hotel, check in staff were unmotivated, no greeting, minimal interaction, one of them were doing her make up at the desk, it seemed very unprofessional. Room size was acceptable, we requested twin beds and didn’t realise the second bed was a pullout couch converted, and it was uncomfortable. Pillows and blankets had a funky smell.. if not because we had to stay in the area, we would not chose this place.

Great hotel. Beds were comfy. Staff really nice. Would stay again if in the area.

We stayed at the Premier Inn in Andover on the way back to Norfolk from Glastonbury Festival. The room was perfectly clean with an excellent shower and comfortable bed. The staff in the restaurant where we had our evening meal went out of their way to be kind and friendly, even bringing our drinks to the table, despite it being bar service. This morning at breakfast, Aswanth (Ash) was incredibly thoughtful to us. He freshly cooked us fried eggs and when he found out that we had a long journey ahead, he offered us a box to put in a snack for our journey home. He also asked whether we could suggest any improvements with the food or anything else. It was a great start to the day. We hugely recommend this hotel and would like to stay again in the future.

Well positioned for Andover . Easy access off A303 . Car parking , breakfast was good . Bed very comfortable as always so a good nights sleep . Staff very helpful and friendly always a bonus after a tiring drive

As expected from a Premier Inn, comfortable bed, friendly staff and we ate at the attached restaurant and had the sweet potato curry which was delicious and at £11 for 2 mains, an absolutely bargain! Would stay again.

Warm welcome at Reception by Jessica, check in a quick and straightforward process. Room clean and comfortable with added bonus of air conditioning on such a hot night. We ate at restaurant, food all good and great to have a ariety of sugar free drinks, which were refillable.

Atmosphere was good but I was forced to pay two rooms cost for only one room. I lost 67GBP for this time. This was the first and worst experience for me. If I have other opportunities to visit the area, I’ll choose other hotels.

We stay at Premier Inn whenever we need a stopover / weekend trip. This one was on route back from Cornwall for the week and a stopover during the drive back to Essex. We stayed 1 night and thats enough. The room was fine, clean, comfortable and what you would expect from a Premier Inn. The restaurant however needs some work at breakfast, staff are friendly and do their best but you cant help but think its a bit disorganised. Water machine out of action (bundles of tissues soaking up a leak), asking for bowls for cereal, asking for spoons. Sticky surfaces, jugs with water and cutlery just sitting on the side. The buffet was edible so I guess thats good but honestly there didnt seem to be much care and attention to the food, considering we ate at 10 it wasnt really kept stocked up. Fried eggs run out. More bacon brought out in a plate and just tipped into the existing tray. I cant really put my finger on it - its like they try and staff like I say are friendly but its a little chaotic. We wouldnt stay at this PI again and would look for another. Probably explains the less than 4/5 reviews.

To enjoy road travel across England you need reliable stop-overs! The Premier Inn experience meets this need completely; nothing too 'showy' but total reliability in providing a secure, clean comfortable room with a pleasant restaurant and menu, all at a pre-agreed price.

Stayed for 4 nights last week for work just across the industrial estate, and I must say I am very impressed with the improvements made in the last few months. Staff are cheerful and nothing is too much trouble. Hoping that work continue to book me in here!

Why were we not told about the changes to the hotel before our visit. Areas closed off, no children's play area, limited menu than normally available at Premier Inn. General public not allowed in to drink/eat...etc etc all of which resulted in a cold atmosphere We have used and enjoyed using this hotel chain for a number of years but now we will be looking for somewhere new. Very disappointed....

Stayed for a couple nights all staff were friendly, helpful and went out of their way for guests. The restaurant was also brilliant, good service and lovely food. If I was in the area again I would definitely stay here as it meets all my wants and needs

This was my first stay here and was a bit disappointed. The hotel is run down and looks tired from the outside. The room was also a bit grubby and in need of a facelift. The restaurant was not open when I stayed so had to find alternative food options. Overall a disappointing stay.

The room was okay I wouldn't say anything more than that, the outside of the hotel looks dirty and old. The staff are excellent and are doing all they can, the restaurant is small which was a big letdown as the food was poor. This is a very tired hotel, and I will not return anytime soon.
