We rented the presidential suite expecting a comfortable, well-appointed space. Instead, we walked into a room filled with issues from the moment we arrived. There was dog hair all over the sofa, the sofa bed was broken and unusable, and the outdoor furniture was worn and ripped. To make matters worse, the suite smelled strongly of smoke — a huge letdown in a non-smoking hotel — and when we asked for additional glasses, we were told they couldn’t provide any. The service was just as poor as the accommodations. I called the hotel 10 times to speak directly with the manager and never received a return phone call. When I escalated it to corporate Hilton, their representative called the hotel, and the manager refused to speak with them. Overall, this was a frustrating and unacceptable experience from a hotel that purports to be upscale. I would not stay here again and certainly do not recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-managed hotel in Annapolis.
