Stayed with Cory and Carol at the Inn at Horn Point during the Sailboat Show in Annapolis. I can't say enough good things about our trip! Cory and Carol are incredibly gracious hosts and saw to our every need! Gourmet coffee and breakfast each morning and the place was absolutely spotless! If and when we go back, we wouldn't dram of staying anywhere else!

The Inn at Horn Point makes a perfect getaway! Carol and Cory clearly find joy in hosting, and have made a comfortable B&B with next level attention to breakfast. We really liked the quiet location, a short walk away from the busy historic center, but with historic character of its own. Very near to a sail on the Wilma Lee skipjack, and to waterfront dining options. We look forward to returning! Pro tip: Drive into Eastport on Route 665 and avoid the crowds.

This B&B was centrally located, clean,safe and quiet. However, even though I knew there would be no breakfast, I thought that like most B&B’s there would be the possibility of coffee or tea in the morning. There was no one home to welcome us or give information about nearby restaurants, etc. Why take the reservation if you can’t provide the amenities most B&B’s feature?

We were here for two nights. As long-term B & B veterans I should point out that we probably tend to be more critical than others. This is one of the only inns in the lovely Eastport neighborhood of Annapolis. The house is just a block from the bay, and only a 5-10 minute walk from several good restaurants, and a 10-15 minute walk from the historic downtown. This is a quiet residential neighborhood---really nice. Parking is on street, and we never had a problem getting a space close to the B & B. One of the qualities of a very good B & B is an engaging host or hostess, and Corey did a great job of talking with us at breakfast for both days of our stay. Interestingly, his wife was in the kitchen both days, but we never met her. In any case, we really enjoyed talking to Corey. Breakfast was good--you have a couple of options, and they are well prepared. Annapolis is a very pricey area, so we were not surprised that a room would be over $300/night. But our Palisade Room did leave a lot to be desired. It was a small room with a small bathroom and tiny closet. There was no place to sit except for a small bench in a side alcove, so you had to be on the bed all the time. The small sink was on a chest next to the door from outside (not in the bathroom). The bathroom did have a very nice walk-in shower. There was a small flat screen TV which was difficult to operate to get the desired channel (even the innkeepers' daughter couldn't figure it out). We could find no hair dryer. Also, although not a big deal for us, be aware that there is no daily housekeeping. And note that if you pay by credit card, an additional charge of around 5% is added to the bill (about $40 for us). No charge if you pay by check or by certain payment processing services. It should be noted that we were aware of this extra charge before we got there. In summary, all of the attributes of a very good B & B were here, except that our room was not what we would have expected for such a high price.
