Unsere Gastgeberin und das Apartment waren super. Vielen Dank Veronica für deine Begrüßung, der ständigen Hilfe und Erreichbarkeit. Vielen Dank auch für das freundliche und hilfsbereite Hauspersonal. Die Lage direkt am Strand und dem Meeresrauschen. Unmittelbar an der Anlage befindet sich eine Bushaltestelle und mehrere kleine Supermärkte. Ein Traumstrand liegt direkt an der Anlage und andere kann man mit dem Bus erreichen. Wir haben keinen Massentourismus erlebt und konnten die Seele baumeln lassen.

L’appartamento si trova in una palazzina fronte spiaggia, situata in una delle poche zone abitate del Sud di Mahè. Non è una località turistica ma un villaggio con negozi, supermercato, farmacia, pasticceria, ospedale e alcuni ristoranti, che rende l’atmosfera più autentica. È una base comoda per visitare le spiagge del sud, meno turistiche di quelle del nord. La struttura offre anche un parcheggio interno molto utile. Durante la stagione estiva (giugno-settembre), la zona è ventosa con mare mosso, mentre nel resto dell’anno, secondo un locale, il mare è più calmo. Arrivati di sera, ci ha accolto una guardia che ci ha spiegato le informazioni base; il check-in formale l’abbiamo fatto il giorno successivo, anche se ci avevano inviato tutte le indicazioni via mail. L’appartamento è spazioso, con aria condizionata in camera, ma la temperatura non è mai stata un problema grazie alla terrazza dove cenare e godere del fresco. Consiglierei gli appartamenti al primo piano, sia per la vista che per evitare eventuali infiltrazioni d’acqua nei piani terra durante la pioggia. Sebbene non ci siano stati problemi durante il soggiorno, abbiamo notato che le finestre del bagno erano dotate di serratura e ci è stato raccomandato di chiudere bene la porta di accesso per motivi di sicurezza. La cucina è essenziale ma funzionale per preparare pasti semplici, mentre il bagno avrebbe beneficiato di un piano di appoggio in più e di una presa di corrente vicino allo specchio della camera per il phon. I teli mare vengono cambiati ogni due giorni insieme alle pulizie. In zona c'è anche una pasticceria ottima per colazioni. Rispetto ad altri alloggi che abbiamo scelto a Praslin e La Digue, questo non è molto caratteristico, ma in generale il rapporto qualità-prezzo è buono. Abbiamo anche usufruito del late check-in (a pagamento, circa 40€).

We have been to the Seychelles several times, even as far back as 1976! We have recently returned from staying at Pieds Dans L'eau where we had an apartment for a week. It was wonderful! The apartment is spacious and stylish; there is a large sitting room/ kitchenette , not overcrowded with too much furniture but just appropriate for holidaymakers. Oh, and the kitchen facilities are very good too. There is a separate large bedroom with a grand comfortable bed and terrific shower room. Both rooms look out to sea, the beach being right outside. Our apartment had a huge balcony too. ( We liked the pictures on the walls too, so often uninteresting flower prints or similar!) As if that isn't enough, the wonderful Veronica who manages the place went above and beyond to help when I damaged my back and became immobile for a few days. She was an angel in disguise helping me to get hospital attention and spending all of her precious Sunday at my bedside whilst the doctor looked after me. I recovered reader, don't worry, and I was able to swim in the sea again before I went home. We loved this place and could not recommend it highly enough if it is a self catering unpretentious apartment you are looking for.
