哈德良門酒店(Hadrian Gate Hotel)

I am glad we made this choice for our 3-night stay. The hotel owner was very accommodating for our family of 5. Very good breakfast, rooms in good shape, nice pool, walk to the beach and marina, on the quiet street but right in the heart of old town with tons of bars and restaurants.

This is by far the worst hotel experience. The hotel has not got it both on service, on cleaniless, on food and price. If the aircondition was not working they will charge you 30 euros to fix it. The food was terrible and often ordered from take away from other places. The rooms were dirty. The minibar was placed in the bathroom. The hotel personell lacked profesionalism. The hotel manager and the recepcionist were rude and even aggressive if you asked for something.

Nous avons passé 3 nuits dans cet hotel en famille. Le personnel de l'hotel n'était pas souriant désagreable et hautain,ils étaient tres désagreable avec les enfants et même agressif. La piscine était sale l'eau était trouble. La salle de bain était dans un état déplorable(moisissures,porte serviette cassé tombé sur mon fils,toillettes qui ne fonctionnent pas...) Les photos de Google ne reflètent absolument pas l'état de l'hotel elles sont mensongères. Le hall est plein de tapis empilés car ils les vendent et ne ressemble en rien à une salle de restaurant car il n'y a aucune table. Concernant le petit dejeuner il etait tellement de mauvaise qualité que nous l'avons pris à l'exterieur alors qu'il était compris. Nous avons échangés avec 2 familles qui séjournaient en même temps que nous dans l'hotel et elles ont subit le même sort( agréssivité,manque de respect,hautain,désagréable...)Cela nous a malheureusement conforté dans notre avis. Cet hotel est à fuir car l'accueil réservé aux clients est horrible,surtout si vous etes en famille.

First and foremost I thought I was booking another hotel that I remember from eight years ago, but turn out to be this was not the one. Tried to book six rooms, it was not possible because becomes a group booking so I had to call the hotel owner & the manager answered to call then I booked six rooms via deposit some deposit direct to hotel acc. We have checked in 29 October 2022. Pro's The rooms are spacious. The location is good, in the castle area and near to Hadrians gate. Somehow attractive building looking from the outside. Cons The water pressure in the showers was not adequate, it was almost impossible to adjust the water to the desired temperature and the water flow was so little that 5 min shower maybe can be done in 20 minutes, of course people with long hair can forget about the shower completely. Rooms were NOT quiet we could hear everything happening in the narrow street front of the hotel, my five cent worth advice is to get your earplugs ready! -One of my friend was fed up of lack of water in the shower and asked for her money to be reimbursed owner & manager did not interested in reimbursement, then I call the Ministry of Tourism to file a formal complaint, that is all happened in front of the manager. -The hotel itself was noisy because I could hear the next-door TV and the noise from the doors was excessive. -By this time we had travelled 3 thousand km in Turkey and we stayed in many hotels with breakfast, I must say the saddest breakfast was at Hadrian gate hotel, second day onward we had to look elsewhere to have breakfast. -The reception area of the hotel same time is storage for hundreds of carpets!

The hotel is rundown, very little water pressure in the shower. Mould in the shower recess. Noisy, expensive, unenviting reception area smelled like very dusty carpet. Breakfast was included but was terrible, so we all eat out elsewhere during our stay. I would NOT recommend this hotel. Staff do not speak English. Only thing it has going for it is the location. They ask for direct debit up front payment for rooms and they do not provide refunds. FIVE THUMBS DOWN. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL.

The location of the hotel is quite central. But the hotel staff is very rude. The lobby of the hotel is used as a warehouse full of carpets. You do not believe that it is a hotel at first. The rooms are very dirty and there is not even toilet paper, if you want it cleaned, they charge an extra 400 lira. If any of your guests come, be prepared for them to be kicked out of the door. A hotel that will never deserve your money.

water circulating system was not working in swimming pool so very dirty and Very poor breakfast. It was so difficult to sleep until 3 am because there was no soundproof at the room.

Great location

Nous avons passé 4 nuits en famille.Personnel mal poli, non souriant, hautain. Une fois la chambre payée, ce n'étaient plus les mêmes personnes. Le personnel nous a manqué de respect.Les photos de l'hotel ne reflète pas la réalité une vrai honte. Frigo non fonctionnel, chasse d'eau non fonctionnel, odeur de renfermé dans la chambre,eau chaude qui passe a l'eau froide une vrai catastrophe. Menage fais tous les jours. Serviette et papier toilette tous les 2 jours. J'ai demandé un rouleau supplémentaire le patron a pris le numero de ma chambre pour le noter et il m'a dis je ne devrais pas vous le donner car c'est tous les 2 jours que nous ravitaillons les chambres. 2 rouleaux alors que nous étions 4. Le ménage n'a pas été fait et quand j'ai fais part de mon mécontentement on m'a dit de retourner dans mon pays qui est la France. Piscine très sale,d'ailleurs personne ne s'y baigne. Petit déjeuner de très mauvaise qualité. Hotel a fuir si vous êtes en famille vous allez le regretter.
