First and foremost I thought I was booking another hotel that I remember from eight years ago, but turn out to be this was not the one. Tried to book six rooms, it was not possible because becomes a group booking so I had to call the hotel owner & the manager answered to call then I booked six rooms via deposit some deposit direct to hotel acc. We have checked in 29 October 2022. Pro's The rooms are spacious. The location is good, in the castle area and near to Hadrians gate. Somehow attractive building looking from the outside. Cons The water pressure in the showers was not adequate, it was almost impossible to adjust the water to the desired temperature and the water flow was so little that 5 min shower maybe can be done in 20 minutes, of course people with long hair can forget about the shower completely. Rooms were NOT quiet we could hear everything happening in the narrow street front of the hotel, my five cent worth advice is to get your earplugs ready! -One of my friend was fed up of lack of water in the shower and asked for her money to be reimbursed owner & manager did not interested in reimbursement, then I call the Ministry of Tourism to file a formal complaint, that is all happened in front of the manager. -The hotel itself was noisy because I could hear the next-door TV and the noise from the doors was excessive. -By this time we had travelled 3 thousand km in Turkey and we stayed in many hotels with breakfast, I must say the saddest breakfast was at Hadrian gate hotel, second day onward we had to look elsewhere to have breakfast. -The reception area of the hotel same time is storage for hundreds of carpets!
