Destacada la ubicación, a pocas cuadras del parque central de Antigua, muchos restaurantes, supermercados y farmacias están cerca. Me pareció muy bien la comodidad y limpieza de la habitación. El personal muy amable. Definitivamente volvería a este hotel. El llavín de la habitación 8 ya requiere reparación o cambio, ya que costaba poder cerrar la puerta.

El hotel es pequeño. La atención es buena. Se atiende con amabilidad. Está muy cerca del parque central de La Antigua Guatemala. La habitación está muy limpia, tiene televisión y baño privado. Tiene espacio de patio con jardín, muy agradable sitio para descansar y conversar. Tiene sillas para descansar en el patio.

El hotel tiene muy buena ubicación, la atención al cliente es inmejorable y la limpieza perfecta,el personal siempre fue muy atento, la habitación muy cómoda, el desayuno estuvo muy bien y la conexión a Internet no pudo ser mejor, desde el hotel se llega caminando a cualquier atracción de la ciudad.

Very clean and quiet hotel still within walking distance to everything. Staff was friendly and attentive. Water was hot and shower was strong. Breakfast was simple but fast and delicious. I easily booked our transportation to and from the airport through the hotel and the prices were the same as Uber but in a much more comfortable van. Will definitely stay here again when we come back this way.

My spouse and I spent a total of 5 glorious days at Hotel La Galeria. Outstanding hotel, very well maintained , beautiful interior decoration. Very modern and comfortable rooms. One of the best showers with hot water that we have experienced in the world. Eventhough there is water shortage in the country not once were we advised to use less water but we were mindful. The owner Julia is a warm and helpful person. So are her staff, each and every one from the front desk to the ladies who served breakfast and cleaned our rooms with a smile always. The hotel is minutes from the center, the lively restaurants, shopping areas and the park. We will go back very soon and guess where we plan to stay...

Excellent hotel right in the mix of what Antigua has to offer. The hotel is located next to restaurants, walking distance to attractions, and small grocery stores if needed. The staff was always polite and helpful. They also cook breakfast in the morning so that was helpful.

My wife and I spent a marvelous week in Antigua, Guatemala, May 09-16, 2023. As a result, we now have a new favorite hotel, and we have experienced many lodging venues through the years. I am somewhat reluctant to admit this, since I would rather that La Galeria be our own private secret, but it is clear from other reviews of the establishment that it is far too late for that. I do not wish to omit any of the incredible cast of characters who populate the La Galeria world: Julia, the gracious and expert bilingual manager; Wilfredo, the intellectual often on duty at night; Vivian, with whom I had a long correspondence concerning our stay; Laura and Marco, who make use of their ample talents to ensure that guests receive the best possible treatment; and Armando, who, while not employed by the hotel, provides transportation with caution and punctuality. Other members of the staff responsible for cleaning and serving breakfast were also consistently responsive to our needs, with cheerfulness and a willing disposition. Our room was extremely satisfactory, and the bath offered the best showers I have ever had. It is difficult in a small space to comment on all the kindnesses we were shown, so I will settle on an example. One night we wished to dine on Guatemalan food, so Julia took us to a spot she knew, on her way home. When it was time to call Uber for the trip back, the restaurant personnel informed us that our ride was already there: it turned out that since there was no car service at that late hour, Julia had returned to the establishment and waited until we finished our dinner. That degree of care is virtually unheard of, yet for individuals of her caliber, it seems to come naturally. La Galeria is, for many reasons, our preferred hotel, and we cannot wait to return. We stayed here for 2 nights and loved it. Close to everything and super safe. We had room #10 which is big with a very spacious bathroom. You also get free breakfast which is a plus. Staff was super friendly and stay on site 24/7. Absolutely recommend.

I spent 4 nights at Hotel La Galeria and it was great. The room I had (10) was huge, and spotless clean. The bathroom was large and well laid out. It had one of the best showers I've had in a hotel. I appreciated the strong WiFi, the small safe in the room, and the breakfast options. The staff were always helpful, even with my limited spanish. Traveling as a solo female I felt safe. Finally the location is great, there was a laundry place right across the street, a supermarket a few blocks away, and easy walking distance to all of the places I wanted to visit in Antigua.
