T桑特酒店(Hotel 't Sandt)

Pequeño hotel ubicado en el centro de Amberes, cada habitación es diferente. Son habitaciones grandes, con todas la comodidades que se necesita. La cama es muy cómoda y ni que hablar de las almohadas, como dormir entre algodones. El desayuno está incluido en el precio, consiste es un buffet con una amplia variedad de dulces y salados de muy buena calidad.

Das Hotel liegt am Rande der Altstadt und ist trotzdem gut erreichbar. Vor allen Dingen hat es eine eigene Garage, wo wird man sonst noch in Großstädten das Auto los? Es hat den Charme eines „Altbaus“ und man kann von dort alles zu Fuß erreichen. Auch Preis-/Leistung ist bei der Lage bestimmt angemessen. Nun die Anreise war komplizierter als gedacht. Hinweis für Autofahrer: Man muss in Belgien das Fahrzeug vorab (2 Wochen) im Internet für das Befahren der Umweltzonen anmelden und natürlich sind die Innenstädte Umweltzone (Videoüberwacht!). O.k. das war einfach, aber dann: 200 m Luftlinie vom Hotel entfernt, versagt mein Navi und Googlemaps, denn sie wissen nicht, wie man vom Ernest Van Dijckkaai in die Einbahnstraße Zand kommt. Der angezeigte Weg ist durch einen Flohmarkt versperrt. Nach längerem Kreisen haben wir dann die beste Zufahrt gefunden: durch die Spielstraße Sandersstraatje! Ab da war alles toll: großzügige Tiefgarage, netter Empfang, historisches Gebäude mit besonderem Charme, knarzende Dielen, großes, anscheinend frisch renoviertes Zimmer mit antikem Schrank und offensichtlich ebenso eine frisch renoviertes (neues) Bad (siehe Fotos). Von der Rezeption gab es noch einen Stadtplan und ein paar wertvolle Tipps und schon konnte man alles zu Fuß erkunden. In den Betten haben wir sehr gut geschlafen und nach dem guten Frühstück konnten wir gestärkt weiter fahren.

Die Wahl dieses Hotels für einen privaten Besuch der Stadt war richtig! Drei Argumente sprechen hierfür: Sehr nettes Personal, das sich unserer Sonderwünsche perfekt angenommen hat ( Buchung diverser Restaurants). Die Lage zur Stadt könnte kaum besser sein. Wenn man mit dem Auto kommt hat man eine Garage direkt im Hotel. Es gibt aber nicht die volle Punktzahl, weil die Ausstattung vielfach nicht den Standards entspricht, die man für knapp € 300 pro Nacht erwarten darf.

This stays, by far, the nicest city center hotel I’ve ever come across. First: location. Jam smack in the middle of Antwerp city centre close to the Schelde river. Parking: when arriving from abroad, it is just really really nice you can leave the car safely in their parking on their own premises. The owners are super nice, friendly and caring. The rooms are beautiful and well isolated. We will keep coming back here time and time and time again…..

Excellent location, excellent service, great breakfast. Welcoming comfortable lounge. I loved how historic features of the building were incorporated into a sleek modern room design. Close to the cathedral and main sights. Would stay again.

We had a fabulous stay here, the hotel is on a quiet street but right in the heart of the old town. Our room was large and very comfortable and warm. Breakfast was great and easily available. A very relaxed friendly atmosphere. The owner was always on hand to make sure we had everything we needed and went above no beyond to help us. Would definately stay here again.

We had a terrific weekend at the hotel. Wonderful ambience with genuine architecture and interior design, live piano music for breakfast and an all over friendly and personal service. The location was great, in the middle of the street of the old city center and close to the river. The breakfast buffet was not the biggest but had all you needed for a good brunch with fresh made scrambled eggs and freshly pressed orange juice. We had a junior suite that really meet our expectations. The bed was wonderful. The only downside was it was a little bit noisy. You can hear other guests walking in the hallway or in their rooms but this was not a biggie.

The hotel is beautiful, the decor is fantastic, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. Highlights were a beautiful room, secure and covered parking, cocktails in the lounge, and delicious breakfast on the quaint patio. Our plans were affected due to an airline issue and the staff took care of the situation. Sandy made sure everything was as good as could be.

We had a wonderful night at this conveniently located hotel during our stopover in the heart of Old Antwerp. On-site private parking was a super plus! Our rooms were spacious and comfortable, and beautifully decorated. What made our stay even more great was the exceptional service by Sedrick at the front desk- he made us feel right at home with his warm reception and we are grateful- we will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Antwerp! ☺️🇧🇪
