Great little guesthouse. Fantastic value - 2 nights BnB, a dinner, beers and lots of water bottles, less than £60! For 2! The hosts are friendly, welcoming and very helpful. Highly recommend. It is very convenient for both the town and the ancient city. They will arrange taxis, self drive tuk tusks or bicycles for guests.

Loved staying here. Lievi is such a kind person, he was super kind and helpful. He helped us arrange a safari last minute. The room was clean and the place peaceful, exactly what we needed. Would definitely come back.

We had a great time at Lievi's place, he was very kind and helpful, and provided us with advice and tips to get around the city and visit the temples. It is easy to get around from here to the main spots in town.

Lievi a été un super hôte tout au long de notre séjour. Il était à l’écoute de nos besoins et était disponible pour nous aider avec toutes nos interrogations. Il s’assurait de trouver des transports et activités à un meilleur prix.

La famille qui tient l'établissement était très accueillante. Ils nous ont montré comment on fait le lait de coco et ils ont répondu à nos très nombreuses questions sur le pays. Le dernier soir, nous avons même eu un aperçu de nombreux plats traditionnels. En plus de la chambre, une table avec ventilateur est à notre disposition dans la coursive autour du jardin. Malgré une erreur de notre part lors de la réservation, ils ont réussi à répondre à notre demande sans problème. Ils nous ont aidé à organiser nos visites. Les commerces sont accessibles à pied. Pour autant, l'hébergement est au calme. L'accès aux temples est possible à pied mais n'est pas très sécurisé. Il vaut mieux prévoir de prendre un tuk tuk Nous recommandons fortement cet établissement.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à 2 couples, l'hôte est très accueillant, les repas sont très bon et adaptés a nos envies. Disponible à tout moment et nous a rendu service dès que l'on en avait besoin. Hôte très gentil et de bons conseils.

Die liebenswürdige Gastgeberfamilie hat uns mit toller Organisation (Safari nach Wilpattu, Fahrräder für die Stadttour), hilfreichen Tipps (Reiserouten, Fragen zu Land,Leuten,Kultur), und tollem Essen (incl. Rezepten) versorgt. Geheimtipp: anstelle dem europäischen Frühstück nach dem für Sri Lanka typischen Frühstück fragen

Only great things to say about this place! Hot water, great water pressure, strong AC, big bed with good mattress, pillows not too firm, great location and great set up. Wifi works well! Room has lots of space and storage to put your things, has a huge mosquito net, and stays nice and dark if you like to sleep in! Otherwise the lighting is great and opening the windows allows a lot of natural light. Right outside your door you have a nice outdoor space with your own table and chairs. There is a beautiful garden courtyard too. You get a close up view of monkeys running around on the roof! There are only a handful of rooms so it won't get overly busy. We rented a push bike to check out the archeological sites, it was an easy 15-20 min or so ride. A tuk tuk to town/food is about 220 rs so you're close to all you need. Great price, they also offer food which we had the breakfast and it was exactly what we needed. We were treated to fresh juice on our arrival. We only stayed one night as we were just traveling through, but I would easily stay here longer, they have definitely put all the work in to make this place a treat to stay at. We rank this place within our top 3 in our month in Sri Lanka, and we have stayed at some great places all throughout the country. Highly recommend!

We had a very nice stay in Arudharapura. Mr Levi and his wife are very friendly and attentive. The rooms are basic, but we had 2 of the best meals in Sri Lanka at their place (important thing considering there are not many dinner options in tye city) and they offer an excellent breakfast too. Would recommend it.
