Everything fine - just a little machine noise from outside the room but it was bearable. Great location - very central and near markets. Liked the swimming pool. Extremely friendly and helpful staff overall, very happy we chose The Radisson Brunei.
The best things about this hotel are stuff are very friendly, helpful، and its location are very close to masjid sultan omar, Yayasan Sultan Hajij and museum royal regalia. You can walk or ask hotel to provide shuttle to these sites and more for free. There is also good outside food court called Tamu Selera where you can eat local food, and you can also buy fish and they will cook for you. The buffet you don't have many option but I was ok with that as long there are tea, omelet and bread There are also good cafe shops walking distance. Overall I liked this hotel and i dont mind to come back again ...... my only note to hotel is to improve the room cleaning service.
it has been almost 2 years MCO and now I have an opportunity to visit my Husband in Brunei. Thinking about self-isolation going to be the worst time of my life which I will be alone for at least 7-14 days in the hotel room. So I was prepared for some activities including office work...oh dear lucky that I can work from everywhere. The room is very spacious and clean. I can choose my sitting for work, reading a book or having a meal. The cozy atmosphere at the living area is so relaxing. I can see the views of the city from the window. Talking about the meal is superb! I have no complaint at all except my weight haha... Moreover the hospitality provided by the staffs were great! I really MISS the moments. I highly recommended this Hotel is the best place to stay whenever you visit Brunei. -siti-
The rooms are big and clean but everything else is terrible. It started when I booked the hotel for a business trip. There are not a lot of hotels in KB, so the choice is limited. The hotel confirmed my booking then a week later cancelled saying they did not have the capacity. It took the company I was consulting for to call and secure a room for me. To reach the offices of our client, we need to utilize hotel transport. We booked each day in advance but the hotel managed to screw up the booking each time making us late three days in a row. When I misplaced the plastic key to my room, they charged me $11 to replace it (the only hotel in the world to do that and I have been to hundreds of them). On the way out of your room, the door does not close and lock automatically. You have to run your key to retract the bolt lock and pull it shut (when you are leaving). The bathroom has a 4 inch step down into it meaning you are in danger of stubbing or even breaking a toe if you get up at night to go to the toilet. The food is severely limited, poor quality, and only good for a carb load. Finally, the wifi is only good for about 10minute at a time then cuts out for 5-10 minutes. This is the worst hotel I have visited in a long, long time ,and I have been in some pretty bad hotels.
