We had googled our way to the fact that the Hilton Mainz has a very good location right down to the Rhine and you can purchase access to the hotel's ”Executive Lounge”. We booked 5 nights and we were ready for a little vacation by the Rhine. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were quickly and efficiently checked in by Mrs. Blanco Flores, who upgraded us to a room with a view of the Rhine. Mrs. Flores made us aware, that the ”Executive Lounge” was unfortunately not that big, but we had to see that with our ”own eyes”. Really good service was provided upon check-in, and our expectations for the stay at the hotel became greater. The room we had been allocated was on the 5th floor with a wonderful view of the Rhine. We had booked a room with breakfast, so we were excited to see, how the breakfast buffet was. But we were very pleasantly surprised there 😊.. There was a reasonably large selection of various breads and hot items, so it was just a matter of getting started with breakfast. The hotel allows you to sit outside and enjoy your breakfast with a view of the Rhine, and watch the people walking and cycling past. We were very lucky with the weather, so breakfast was enjoyed for a little longer time than usual. After breakfast, we went up and see how the ”Executive Lounge” was. But unfortunately we were somewhat disappointed. The ”Executive Lounge” consists of 2 small rooms, where there were 3 tables in each room, and 3 people could sit at each table. When we got outside the time when alcoholic drinks are served, we could see that you could have a cup of coffee or an apollinaris. The snacks on display looked a bit boring, and the fruit wasn't of the best quality either. But cheer up, it could be good in the evening... But when we visited the ”Executive Lounge” in the evening, beer, wine and spirits were on display - but the snacks that were also on display didn't seem particularly inviting - so we didn't take any of them. Summary of our experience of the ”Executive Lounge” is that it is not necessary to purchase access to the ”Executive Lounge”. And we can only encourage hotel management to go on a study trip to Düsseldorf or Dresden, where we have experienced what an ”Executive Lounge” should really be like. In general, the level of service is very high, and the staff a super good service at the hotel 😊... Here we have to highlight in particular: Mrs. Flores from the reception, Heike from the breakfast restaurant and Brittany from Guest Relations. They gave us a really good service during our stay. In summary, we would give the hotel 4 stars out of 5. If the hotel should have had the last star, the ”Executive Lounge” must be upgraded with better rooms. (Could space be created for a small area down in the restaurant area, so that you also have the opportunity to sit outside on the warm summer evenings. We would like to come again at another time to enjoy the good location and super service 😊..

在美因茨市中心真的很不錯的酒店。大堂的裝飾很漂亮,房間的裝飾也很漂亮。前台的工作人員讓你感到歡迎,在我看來這很重要。

非常漂亮,值得帶走的4星,寬舒適的房間。我們住在單獨的建築物(幾百米),所以不舒服的早餐和游泳池,而是在主樓,唯一缺陷是可怕的煙味(儘管房間是非吸菸的)着房間,不幸的是,像往常一樣,地裏的和傢俱都沒有留下,另外一個小報:游泳池水有點冷,早餐很不錯,人人很。 

Was ein entspannendes Wellnesswochenende zum Geburtstag meines Partners werden sollte entwickelt sich leider zu einer kompletten Enttäuschung. Da wir bei unserem letzten Aufenthalt vor zwei Jahren vom Favorite- Parkhotel begesitert waren, hatten diese Mal leider wieder recht hohe Erwartungen, die leider komplett enttäuscht wurden und wir wurden rasch auf den Boden der Tatsachen zurückgebracht. Das gebuchte Superior Zimmer war leider eines der doch sehr angestaubten altmodischen Zimmer in der 5. Etage, ganz im Gegensatz zum letzten Aufenthalt als wir ein modernes Zimmer erhalten hatten. Die Sauberkeit war nicht zu beanstanden, aber es fing schon damit an, dass am Anreisetag unser Zimmer lange nicht bezugsfertig war und der Herr an der Rezeption uns offensichtlich vergessen hatte, so dass wir selbst mehrfach nach der aktuellen Stand der Checkin-Möglichkeit fragen mussten. Der Aufzug war selbstredend defekt, so dass wir das Gepäck dann auf die 5. Etage tragen mussten, Rückfragen seitens des Personals, ob denn eine Hilfe gewünscht sei: selbstverständlich Fehlanzeige. Der Aufzug war dann vom Anreisetag bis zum Abreisetag (Donnerstag-Sonntag) regelmäßg defekt..... Die Energiekostenpauschale ist dann auch wieder eine dieser zusätzlichen Gebühren, welch sich jeder Nachvollziehbarkeit entziehen, dann wäre es eine ehrlichere Entscheidung des Hotels die Übernachtungspreise entsprechend anzupassen. Der Wellnessbereich auf dem Dach ist nach wie vor für ein Hotel dieser Größe absolut unterdimensioniert, auch war hier der Whirlpool zwei Tage außer Betrieb. Der neu gestaltete Spa-Bereich des Hotels im Erdgeschoss ist zwar optisch sehr ansprechend, jedoch sind für die Größe des Hotels auch hier zuwenige Liegemöglichkeiten vorhanden. Hier hat man bei der Gestaltung eher auf die Optik als die Praktikabilität geachtet, denn aufrund der zahlreichen Gäste hatte das Ganze die Atmosphäre einer Banhofshalle, von Entspannung keine Spur. Es wäre sinnvoll gewesen die Ruhemöglichkeiten abzutrennen, aber so ist man hier mitten im Durchgangsverkehr .... leider ein totaler Reinfall. Als ich am Abreisetag durch einen Rezeptionsmitarbeiter gefragt wurde ob mir der Aufenthalt denn gefallen habe undmit ”Leider nein” antwortete war seine Rektion ein einfaches Rezeptionsmitarbeiter ”Oh, schade, das tut mir leid”. Es hätte sich doch hier schlichtweg die Frage nach dem Grund meiner Unzufriedenheit angeboten, denn wie möchte sich ein Hotel verbessern wenn es sich nicht nach der Kritik erkundigt? Aber hier herrscht die Devise vor: egal, Kunde ist abgereist ist mir doch egal waurm es dem Kunden nicht gefallen hat. Bei knapp 800.- für drei Übernachtungen und einen Besuch im hauseigenen Restaurant dann eine sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung. Weit im voraus hatte ich mit dem hotel ommuniziert, dass es eine Geburstagsüberraschung für meinen Partner sein solle, wurde darauf eingegangen: natürlich nicht. 這是我們第一次住的酒店,作爲歐洲和非洲7個月旅行的一部分。會承認這不是最好的主意,因爲這個公寓是SO NICE,你將最終將你未來的所有酒店房間與它進行比較(而且可能會出現短)。美麗的改建建築,寬敞的房間,所有的東西都感覺最近裝修和乾淨。老闆非常友好,竭盡全力幫助我們。我們的房間俯視着主廣場和噴泉,晚上睡着了,窗戶打開了,聽着人們走過,在咖啡館和噴泉的背景下吃飯。唯一值得注意的是牀看起來有點小。我們習慣了在家裏做國王,或者旅行時做王后。這也許的確是王后,但感覺就像雙人牀。我們住的一晚,我從牀上摔了下來(睡覺的時候)。牀很高,所以沒有樂趣。在美因茨的住宿非常棒,如果他們有一個慣例(價格很高),那麼法蘭克福的絕佳選擇。這裏的老城區很小,但有足夠的東西讓一個人忙碌幾天。
