阿格羅斯凱法利尼亞酒店(Hotel Aggelos Kefalonia)

Amazing hotel. Spotlessly clean. Wonderful, friendly staff. Great breakfast. Perfect location. Room 301 was superb. Very highly recommend. Five minutes walk into main centre of town. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't always good, but we made the best of it! Hired a car locally. Fantastic holiday!

Perfect location, spotlessly clean,but......this family run hotel did not feel a happy place. Our room.was a "city view",which in reality was a back road overlooking a building site.The room was very small,2 people cant pass around the beds at the same time.The shower is also very small,with only a feeble shower curtain to prevent water from.spraying onto.the floor. The patio just managed to get 2 small chairs and a table on,but an overgrown tree took over most of the space.I would never expect the tree to be removed, but it could easily have been trimmed. The website claimed the hotel had a terrace snack bar and bar.I didnt see any food for sale during my stay,but the 'bar' consisted of helping yourself to an item from.the fridge in the very small.reception area and hoping a member of staff would offer a glass. We chose to.sit on the terrace ,which consisted of about 8 small tables,because our patio was not user friendly.Whenever we were sitting on the terrace (which has fabulous views),there was always at least one member of the family sitting outside at the same time,usually smoking,but making no effort at conversation with us.It made us feel uncomfortable. It was particularly dissapointing because the hotel.promotes itself as family run,we expected the proprietors to be far more welcoming. The website also offers storage for cases,we had a late flight and asked to.leave our cases ,the man on reception desk just pointed to a corner of the reception area,where anyone could have accessed our cases. I feel this hotel needs to update its website,so that guests have a truer representation of what is actually provided.

Hotel superiore ad ogni aspettativa.Centrale e in riva al mare. Camera moderna e pulitissima ( oltre a sistemare la camera la mattina, questa viene risistemata anche la sera) bagno moderno e elegante e un balconcino arredato con un tavolino di ferro battuto e cristallo e sedie). La colazione, che si può consumare anche su una terrazza vista mare, é ricca e varia ( frutta saporita e dolce , uova cucinate in vari modi, varie torte salate e dolci, cornetti, formaggi e salumi e varie verdure). Mio marito purtroppo aveva un momentaneo problema al piede e tutto il personale e i proprietari sono stati tutti i giorni attenti nel verificare la sua salute e pronti ad aiutarlo in ogni modo. Insomma un hotel che non ha niente da invidiare a hotel con più stelle, pulito e moderno dove trovare oltre a tanta professionalità anche tanto calore umano. Il prossimo anno torneremo nuovamente.

Hotel situato ad argostoli in una posizione invidiabile, una vista mare incantevole, pulizia eccellente e lo staff gentilissimo , ci hanno fatto sentire sempre a nostro agio e trattato con una gentilezza e professionalità che non si vede da altre parti . Camere moderne e spaziose Grazie per l'esperienza che ci avete fatto provare

Albergo con molto parcheggio nei dintorni, non abbiamo mai fatto fatica a trovare un posto libero per la macchina, colazione buona che e' possibile consumare in camera o vista mare o sul retro, bruttino ma bello fresco, ambienti comuni e camera molto pulite, personale gentile con reception aperta H24, il centro a un centinaio di metri (o meglio inizio zona pedonale, poi la strada dei negozi e' davvero lunga), a pochi passi almeno 2 ristoranti dove vale la pena fermarsi.

Wir waren im Mai in dem Hotel Aggelos. Mir fällt es schwer das Hotel mit nur 2 Sternen zu bewerten, denn das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Von dem Emfangsspersonal, über Frückstücks- bis zum Reinigungspersonal waren alle super! Der Ausblick war ebenfalls wunderschön. Direkt auf der anderen Seite liegt das glasklare Meer und dahinter die Berge, die man vom Balkon aus sehr gut betrachten kann. Die Innenausstattung war ganz nett, besonders das moderne Bad. Leider gab es nur wenige Ablagemöglichkeiten und Steckdosen. Es gab auch eine liebe, selbstgeschriebene Karte zum Empfang Leider konnten wir in dem Zimmer kaum schlafen. Das Bett war für unseren Geschmack steinhart. Von der Geräuschkulisse kam neben dem Straßenlärm noch der laut summende Kühlschrank hinzu. Man muss jedoch anmerken, dass das Hotel weniger Straßenlärm hat als alle anderen Hotels die weiter unten in der Straße Richtung Hafen liegen. Bei geschlossenen Türen und mit Klimaanlage ist es aushaltbar. Da ich von der Klimaanlage schnell krank werde, war es mit offener Balkontür und frischer Luft für uns zu laut. Das Frühstücksbuffet war überschaubar aber für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Leider hat es uns persönlich nicht sehr geschmeckt und besonders die Brot- und Teigwaren waren trocken und hart. Das Essen hat oft nicht sehr frisch geschmeckt und die Eier waren innen schwarz. Wir würden uns nächstes Mal für ein ruhigeres Hotel entscheiden.

Hotel situato nella parte nord di Argostoli, sempre investito da un vento impetuoso, almeno durante il nostro soggiorno (4/8 luglio). Parcheggio comodo, receptionist cortese, aspetto gradevole dell'edificio, colazione accettabile, ma è proprio tutto quel che posso dire di positivo di questo hotel, per altri versi piuttosto negativo. Cito soltanto le carenze più evidenti che ci hanno sfavorevolmente influenzato: bagno piccolo e scomodo, doccia a ridosso del water e del pavimento adiacente con effetto allagamento ad ogni uso (il diaframma in plexiglass di separazione dal water non separa niente), nessun appendipanni in bagno, solo una scaletta mobile (che ti rovina addosso) per appendere gli asciugamani e i teli da doccia; camera con aria condizionata inefficiente, cioè, o ti spara addosso o non ne senti l'effetto; assenza di spazio e di appendipanni anche in camera con conseguente difficoltà di sistemare abiti e quant'altro; installata solo una stretta mensola dove appoggiare qualche oggetto personale; cassetti insufficienti; aereazione dell'ambiente insufficiente causa l'impossibilità di tenere aperta la pesante tenda che accede al terrazzino per non esporsi alla pubblica piazza! E mi fermo qui per non infierire. Ergo, prezzi assolutamente non in linea con il servizio offerto!

We spent 3 nights at the Aggelos Hotel in May 2023. This was our 2nd visit to this hotel and we had a very pleasant stay. Once again we had Room 403 on the top floor which had a lovely balcony with a magnificent view of the boats in the harbour. The room was kept spotlessly clean and had tea and coffee making facilities and biscuits. The breakfast was excellent with a very good choice each morning, ranging from cereals to various cakes, pastries, fruit, yogurt, eggs and bacon. There was a choice of fruit juices and a vending machine for hot drinks. There was also a toaster. One could either sit inside in the breakfast room or outside on the patio on a fine morning. We thoroughly enjoyed our return visit to the Aggelos. Both Aggelos and Sofia are always very friendly and helpful and speak good English. Thank you.
