LOCATION to historical sights, restaurants, shopping is perfect. If leaving on a Rhône cruise, literally a 5 minute, easy walk to port. Extremely clean, quiet and functional rooms, with very pleasant staff. Highly recommend! The only downside is no elevator, but staff will assist you.

Josiane, notre experte en animations événementiels, nous a déniché un petit hôtel central dans la ville d’Arles, avec le bénéfice d’être en bordure du Rhône. Bon un peu de difficulté pour se garer, avant d’accéder à cet hôtel ** Régence, au 5 rue Marius Jouveau, dans le quartier historique, de la Cavalerie, mais après proche de tous les principaux centres d’intérêts. Son aspect extérieur est moderne, bien entretenu, avec son rez-de-chaussée réservé aux services communs et ses deux étages pour les logements, composé de 16 chambres, mais il ne dispose pas d’un ascenseur, donc pas accessible aux PMR. Les chambres sont décorées avec goût, au thème provençal, lumineuses, confortables, bien équipées et la propreté assurée. Elles n’ont pas toute la vue sur le Rhône, et certaines sont équipées de plateaux de courtoisie. Les petits-déjeuner buffet, sont continentals et bien renouvelés. Un accueil convivial et chaleureux par les gérants, Valérie Deconstanzi et Eric Nouvion, pour nos trois nuitées, de trois chambres. Deux places de garage sont disponibles, à la location, mais, seulement sur réservation. Possibilité, aussi, de location de vélos. Un sommeil réparateur, dans des couchages de qualité.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Blick auf die Rhone im 1. Stock. Das Zimmer war ausreichend groß mit bequemem Doppelbett und sehr großem, hellen Badezimmer, von dem man ebenfalls auf die Rhone blicken konnte. Es gibt keinen Aufzug. Da wir mit der Bahn gereist sind, hatten wir uns aufgrund der Nähe zum Bahnhof für dieses Hotel entschieden. Zum Stadtzentrum und den Sehenswürdigkeiten läuft man ca. 5-10 Minuten. Das Hotel bietet ein typisch französisches Frühstück für 12,00€/Person an. Die Hotelbetreiber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Rick Steves recommended this hotel 24 years ago. I came back last Sep 2023 and the room we had was ok. The management has changed now owned by Eric and Valerie. On our 2nd day, we requested not to have our room cleaned hoping we had the option to get towels anytime. We informed Eric in the morning we left for Les Baux that we don't want our room cleaned since they don't have those door hangers. However, that night when we came back, my husband requested for toilet paper and extra towels. Eric gave him the toiler paper but not the towels. So I came down and as soon as I tried to request or say something, Eric got so upset, started talking in French saying "Merde", stood up angrily and kept talking in French from the time he went up to get the towels to the time he got back to the front desk. I watch French movies and I know what that word means. What a rude receptionist/owner! It was a very simple request and he was disrespectful. I paid the hotel fees. I did not deserve this kind of treatment. Their excuse is it's a mom and pop hotel and someone has to stay in the front desk and the cleaners come in during the day. The solution should have been to always have towels in hand in the private room next to the front desk. Normally hotels will give you towels no questions asked. Don't they know that guests can request towels any time? This owner was unkind and unfriendly. Never will I go to this hotel anymore based on my last experience.

Ubicato appena dentro le mura, ma con parcheggi gratuiti nelle vicinanze. Comodo per una visita a piedi di tutta Arles. Camera arredata in stile piuttosto moderno, spaziosa, pulita e con vista sul fiume. Bellissimo al tramonto. Bagno piccolo ma funzionale per alcuni giorni di soggiorno. Tv con canali italiani. Colazione con una buona scelta tra dolce salato. Nota di merito al caffe. Staff cordialissimo. Zona tranquilla. Altamente consigliato.

Sur les conseils d’amis, nous avons séjourné dans cet hôtel. À partir de l’extérieur , on ne peut deviner la qualité de cet établissement. À l’intérieur, tout est simple mais l’on se sent immédiatement comme chez soi. Le couple d’hôtes est très accueillant et très sympa. Les chambres sont grandes, confortables et climatisées. Le petit déjeuner est bien complet. En d’autres termes, le rapport qualité prix est excellent.

Superbe expérience dans cet hôtel familial et chaleureux. On s'y sent bien dès le départ. L'accueil des hôteliers Valérie et Eric est sympathique. Ils sont de très bons conseils. Le seul hôtel sur Arles qui a des chambres avec vue sur le fleuve. Les petits déjeuners sont complets et variés ( gâteaux maison, fruits frais, jus de fruits, charcuterie, fromage...) Préférence pour la chambre 7 avec très grande salle de bain Propreté irréprochable. Très bon rapport qualité prix.

hotel situato all'entrata di Arles, posizionato sulla sponda del fiume Rodano. Classico hotel provenzale, molto curato nei dettagli e molto carino. Camere spaziose e pulite bagno molto piccolo ma con tutto il necessario. Ottima la posizione anche per il parcheggio dell'auto. Una buona tappa per visitare uno dei posti più belli della Provenza

We were boarding a riverboat the next day, so stayed just one night at this small hotel close to both the train station and our boat, so we didn’t have to pull our cases too far. The hotel is run by a pleasant man and wife who were always available to answer our questions. Our room although small was very clean and comfortable. Next morning we enjoyed an excellent breakfast. We would recommend Le Residence as an ideally situated hotel.
