The trip was Wednesday night through Monday morning.
DFW shut down due to weather and my plane was diverted to Longview, Texas. Obviously I couldn’t make it to check in Wednesday since I was now spending the night in Longview. My daughter had arrived earlier in the day and went to the front desk to advise them that I would be there on Thursday. They told her that if I didn’t check in on Wednesday that my whole trip would be canceled. She was able to check in for me.
We got no housekeeping on Saturday or Sunday, we had to go to the desk and get fresh towels, wouldn’t bring them to the room. Trash was not emptied. I have never been to a Hotel that I didn’t get room service, my daughter didn’t get it either. I feel they owe me a partial refund for not supplying service that I paid for. So does my daughter.
I hope that the Manager reads this.

The front desk staff were very nice, but the property is in bad need of remodeling. When I made my reservation the property was a La Quinta and I expected the standards/experience I usually get at that hotel chain. When we arrived, there was a temporary banner covering the La Quinta sign and the hotel had become a Howard Johnsons. The rooms were old and some things were in a state of disrepair (i.e., room telephone did not work, electrical outlets were loose and we could not plug chargers in) However, the worse part was when water (not clear, but a tinted brown) started pouring out of the bathroom light fixture into the bathroom, flooding it. At that point, it became a health hazard and I asked the front desk to move us to a different room as it was the last night of our trip. Again, really nice front desk personnel, but overall terrible experience. FInally, the only really close restaurants were McDonalds and Dennys and there were many individuals experiencing homelessness camping directly adjacent and nearby. Will not return.

The room we were in had tiles in the bathroom floor that were falling out, chipped paint on the walls, etc. There was no maintenance staff on the day we left and almost no staff to help refill coffee, etc. for breakfast.
On the up-side, housekeeping was prompt every day, the rooms were spacious, and the breakfast area was open to be used for gathering all day. The staff that were working were very nice.

There were three of us and they did not have any sheets, pillows or blankets for the sofa bed, so all three of us had to sleep on one bed. They said there was a large group so they were unable to wash the sheets. Half the rooms on our floor was under construction, so I know the rooms were not being occupied. Not sure why there would not be enough linen unless poor management did not staff enough staff to wash/clean. The free breakfast was good.

Subpar is about the best rating I can give the hotel. We stayed here several nights, so the issues were not "one off".
When we arrived, they gave us keys to a room that was already occupied. We literally walked into someone else's room.
Then they gave us a room that was not ready. There were literally construction workers in the room assembling the furniture at 4 pm.
Every day of our stay the keys stopped working and we would have to get the front desk to recode them. The AC was barely functional. The WiFi did not work for the entire week. We did not have hot water all week. Nor did we have a working television. The construction noise all week was awful. The breakfast bar was understocked.
Pretty awful experience all the way 'round.

The bathroom curtain was terrible, and after taking a shower, the bathroom ended up flooded. However, the lady at the checkout was incredibly helpful and even assisted me in locating a nearby tire shop.

The A/C didn’t work in our room. We were told maintenance was coming to check out A/C never came.
The entire hotel was warm. The door to our bathroom was broken.

Staff (Brandon) was very unprofessional, disrespectful and arrogant to me and my family, along with a few other guest in the lobby area at the checkin desk. I would like to speak with the General Manager soon as possible.
