阿魯幹姆灣洛可斯度假村(Arugambay Roccos)

Séjour décevant malgré l’emplacement magnifique. Une piscine et des chambres avec vue mer et un concept qui donne envie mais seulement sur les photos Lors de la réception de chambre, une odeur horrible très présente Après inspection il s’avère que c’était un animal mort dans la chasse d’eau Les salles de bains sont d’un autre temps vétustes et sales ( pas de gobelet pas de sèche cheveux rien pour poser ses affaires) Les serviettes laissent à désirer. Les murs et plafond de la chambre sont sales (moisissures et traces) Pas sa frigo Pas de ménage quotidien Au petit déjeuner, juste correct service minimal thé ou café un pancake et des fruits mais pas de jus Le personnel est pourtant là mais ne sait pas faire, pas formé Les abords de la piscine ne sont pas net et la plage semi privé avec quelques chaises longues non plus Quel dommage que cette hôtel au fort potentiel ne soit pas plus entretenu décoré et que les clients ne soient pas choyés L’entrée devrait être décorée et avoir une vrai réception il y’a de la place pour cela La salle de petit déjeuner est triste pas de plantes pas de décoration alors que cela est possible Bien que le personnel ait répondu à nos demandes a minima nous sommes déçus car il y a un manque de savoir faire Il est rare que je mette des commentaires négatifs mais en comparaisons des 5 autres hôtels où nous avons séjournes celui ci est très loin du standard attendu au Sri Lanka et tous avait le sens du service Au final pour la direction de L’HOTEL en plus des points ci dessus : Chambre et salle de bains à refaire de toute urgence Plage de la piscine doivent être nettoyés correctement Joint du carrelage de la piscine à nettoyer Bord de la plage déchets à ramasser tous les jours Parasols et matelas de plage à changer + ajout de chaises longues Mise en place d’un vrai bar de plage Formation du personnel aux rudiments de la restauration et du service a table Désolé pour ce commentaire négatif mais il va falloir vraiment progresser

Very nice hotel in the center of the town Nice pool right on the beach. The room are quite small and could have a few more amenities. Staff were very helpful grounds and pool well taken care of. Very good daily breakfast served according to request. Would stay again. Thanks

As per images shown this place is the worst in region .we payed 20k for BB per ngt and felt like we were being robbed in bought daylight .The place run by bunch of amatures who has never being to another hotel.bearly smiling with customers always in frowning face .Breakfast is the worst .

Terrible We have paid $180 for one room for 3 nights. Very unreasonable price. For English breakfast they have given only bread and omelet. Towels not clean. Bed linen not clean. Bathroom not renovated long time. We had terrible stay. We do not recommend to anyone.

The place was really nice as per the description and also we planned to stay for a week,but the grumpy faced manager who was treating us in an impolite manner ruined our stay and mentally forced us to leave the cube number 02 within a night,but the rest of the guys were very kind. IF THE MANGAGER BEHAVES IN THE SAME MANNER, FOR SURE YOUR GOOD RESORT WILL LOOSE MANY TOURISTS. KIND REQUEST TO CONSIDER AND TEACH HIM GOOD HUMANITY AND HOSPITALITY.

We(locals) booked this place as this is a beachfront hotel with good reviews. We booked 1 month in advance (25th Aug) & paid the total amount (USD80 for DBL B&B) as well. But less than 1 week from the day of arrival(28th Sep), they called & informed that they have mistakenly overbooked the hotel and can't accommodate us anymore. I find this highly suspicious as the booking is done via their website, which shows the availability of the rooms. Some hotels tend to do this when they receive a large group of tourists. They tend to cancel the local's booking to accommodate tourists when it was the locals who helped them during the pandemic & economic crisis. They suggested some of their own places as compensation, but those were subpar compared to this place, so we refused ( USD 30 : USD 80) Anyway, i would not recommend this place to anyone, especially if you are a local.

Location was great and having a pool and aircon were definitely bonuses. However, the price was completely exorbitant for what we received and there are places much more reasonably priced in ABay. The room was dirty when we entered it and the towels were both old and worn/stained as well as smelling. The bathroom was not clean and a sewerage smell lingered. Most people (and we followed) did not appear to eat breakfast as it was quite poor. We wouldn’t have minded most of this but we’re upset because of the price we paid. It is very basic accommodation and there are plenty of other places right on the beach for a fairer price.

NON PRENOTATE MAI IN QUESTO POSTO L’unico servizio che un hotel come minimo dovrebbe offrire è quello di dormire, impossibile farlo da Roccos: tutte le sere permettono a gruppi di esterni di fare feste private e party a bordo piscina, esattamente sotto le stanze da letto. Stanze da letto che tra l’altro non corrispondono minimamente alle foto online, i bagni sono vergognosi, le stanze sono sporche, pur essendo un hotel devi chiedere al personale di pulire la stanza ogni giorno altrimenti non lo fanno. L’hotel non ha nessun tipo di servizio la piscina è sporca e trasandata in 4 giorni non siamo mai riusciti a trovare un lettino libero proprio perché permettono a chiunque di occupati anche se la policy e il regolamento dicono esattamente il contrario (ossia che è ad uso esclusivo degli ospiti dell’hotel). Per 4 notti non siamo riusciti a chiudere occhio e abbiamo effettuato il check-out 3 giorni prima del previsto. SCONSIGLIATISSIMO E ASSOLUTAMENTE OVERPRICED

Roccos has the best location in Arugam bay.. right by the main surfing point and in the middle of town on the other side with plenty of restaurant options. Rooms/chalets are basic catering to typical surfers, beach goers, clean and spacious, easy access to the pool. Our meals were mostly from restaurants in the town, specially Mama's right across the road from Roccos, which had an amazing variety and delicious. Hotel offers a Sri Lankan breakfast which is average yet tasty.
